Endurance and Strength

VERSE 1

Dear God, I close my eyes;

With an open heart and mind,

I make my requests to You known;

In You alone, I place my hope.

VERSE 2

May You continue to give me the strength

To endure until the end,

That no matter what hardships I encounter,

Your Name I shall wholeheartedly serve.

VERSE 3

I am firm in my belief

That these troubles will cease;

On that day when Your Son comes once more,

There will be no more pain to endure.

VERSE 4

Just a little bit longer,

And it will all be over;

Though as long as I am treading this earth,

I shall abide by Your holy Word.
