For He Is Near

VERSE 1:

One thing only do I desire;

And that is to be with the Most High;

To worship Him in spirit, in truth;

That He always sees me through. 

VERSE 2:

Without Him, I am lost;

My mind would be consumed

With numerous timorous thoughts;

And so I seek Him in all that I do.

Because of His mercy,

I am still here;

Every achievement and victory

Is only made possible for He is near.

In spite of my struggles,

I shall not crumble;

For the troubles that do not seem to fade,

God will always make a way.
