The week passed quickly, and it was almost Hogsmeade week. Evelyn was excited to finally have a break from everything.

As they made their way to Hogsmeade, Evelyn and Danica caught up on all the things they missed last week. Evelyn told Danica about Potter's attitude, and Danica said, "If I didn't know better, I would say you like him." Evelyn scoffed and replied, "Not bloody likely." She then teased Danica, "What about Diggory?" Danica replied, "What about him?" Evelyn huffed and added, "Please don't think I don't notice the looks you give him." Danica blushed and stammered, "It's nothing like that."

The girls then got off the carriage and decided to grab some butterbeer. The Weasley twins joined them and said, "Evie, Hope, and Dani, mind if we borrow Rose-flower here for a little talk?" Evelyn giggled and replied, "She's all yours."

The Weasley twins took Rose aside, while Evelyn, Danica, and Hope continued to enjoy their butterbeer. Evelyn noticed that Danica was still blushing from their previous conversation and decided to bring it up again. "Okay, Danica, what's going on with you and Diggory?" she asked with a mischievous grin.

Danica looked down, avoiding Evelyn's gaze. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said, trying to brush it off.

Evelyn wasn't having it though. "Come on, Danica. I've seen the way you look at him, and the way he looks at you. You can't hide it from me."

Danica finally looked up and met Evelyn's gaze. "Okay, fine. I might have a bit of a crush on him. But it's nothing serious," she said, looking a little sheepish.

Evelyn smiled, happy that Danica was opening up to her. "Well, you should definitely go for it. I think you two would be great together."

Evelyn couldn't help but think about Atlas' request to go out with him. She couldn't deny that he was attractive, but she couldn't stand his arrogant personality. Danica noticed her distant expression and asked, "What's on your mind?"

Evelyn sighed and said, "Potter asked me out again."

Danica raised her eyebrows, "Really? What did you say?"

Evelyn rolled her eyes, "I told him never in a million years. I can't stand his insufferable attitude."

Hope chimed in, "I don't blame you, Evelyn. He can be quite arrogant sometimes."

Danica chuckled, "Well, he seems to be quite persistent. Maybe he's not as bad as you think."

Evelyn shrugged, "Maybe. But I have a feeling he's just trying to show off in front of his friends. I'm not interested in being his trophy."

Danica nodded in agreement, "I get it. You have better standards than that."

As they finished their drinks, Rose rejoined them, looking flustered. "What were the Weasley twins talking to you about?" Evelyn asked.

Rose blushed, "Nothing important. Let's go to the castle."

Evelyn, Danica, and Hope exchanged knowing looks, but decided to drop the topic for now. They linked arms and walked towards the castle, excited for the start of the Hogsmeade weekend.

On Monday, while they were in Herbology class, Atlas walked up to Evelyn and said, "I still haven't given up on that date, Fawley." Evelyn rolled her eyes and replied, "You're wasting your time, Potter. I'm not interested." Atlas chuckled and said, "We'll see about that."

As the class continued, Evelyn couldn't help but feel a bit bothered by Atlas' persistence. She knew he was just trying to show off and prove something, but it was starting to get on her nerves. During the break, Rose noticed her frustration and asked, "What's wrong?"

Evelyn sighed and said, "Potter just won't give up on asking me out."

Rose shrugged, "Well, my brother's not that bad. But I get it, if you're not interested then you're not interested."

Hope added, "Just ignore him. He's just trying to get a reaction out of you. Don't let him get to you.

Evelyn nodded, "I know, but it's getting annoying. I just want him to leave me alone."

Hope nodded in agreement, "I understand where you're coming from. It can be frustrating when someone just won't take no for an answer."

Evelyn appreciated her friends' support and decided to follow their advice. She wouldn't let Atlas' persistence get the best of her. As the class continued, she focused on her work and tried to ignore his presence. Eventually, she knew he would give up and move on to someone else.

only if she knew..
