Chapter II

Okay y'all so, I wrote this story because I realized that there is not much reonagi on wattpad, and even on Ao3 there's like 90 or so fanfics. So I'm gonna be writing this when I'm bored or I have free time.

By the way, on this fic, Nagi hardly shows emotions because he doesn't have any reason to do so. And he could barely control his emotions btw, like he can't express it properly.

The match with Team Z just ended. Reo honestly did not expect to lose. Not with Nagi. When Ego announced the winner of the round. Team V went back to their dorm and quietly sat. Nagi went to check on Reo who was sitting by himself at the edge of the corner.

"Reo, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I guess that was a miscalculation." Reo said along with a soft yet low voice.

Starting the selection of the next stage.
Teams from other buildings assembled in one room unknowingly confused about what's gonna happen.

Ego suddenly announced something with the people who passed stage 1.

"Attention, strikers. For the next stage you're gonna be facing some rules that needs to be followed. I'm gonna explain the gameplay so be alert. First of all, you will need to group by 3. You can pick whichever you like. After you're done grouping, you will fight another team and steal one player from them. The one who will remain alone will be disqualified from the blue lock." Ego finishes announcing the things he needed to say, so he purposely turned off the TV without even saying other things.

Reo wasn't worried about stage 2 since he would only need 1 member to pass. He already has Nagi, so he just needs to look for another one.

Bachira and Isagi finally arrived at stage 2. They were looking for members, when they suddenly saw Nagi coming towards them.

"I like you, you're the strong guy from the previous match. Will you join my team? " Reo was shocked with what Nagi just said. He wasn't aware that Nagi already took a liking to Isagi.

"What? Of course not, I won't leave my partner Bachira." Isagi said while looking at Bachira and not thinking twice.

"I see. Then I wanna join your team." He said without any hesitation.

what....? Reo was taken aback. He couldn't process what he just heard. Is Nagi serious? Is he really gonna leave him for that guy?

"Nagi? What are you talking about? What about me? About us?!" Reo said panicking while Nagi just released a sigh.

"We need to be strong, Reo. They beat us because we were weak. Soccer isn't fun anymore at this rate."

Soccer isn't fun anymore...?

Reo felt like he was carrying a big burden on his shoulder. His heart sank when Nagi walked away from him and said he will see him to the other side.

But what about their dream of achieving the world cup? What about the time they spent together training? And the memories they made. Was Nagi just gonna forget all of that? Is he just gonna abandon me like this...?

Reo stood up and sat down on a nearby chair. He was still thinking about what happened. He heard the engine door opening and saw pink long hair and a blondish head. He knows they were familiar, well they were the one who beat them. He didn't expect them to team up with him but he agreed anyways. From the moment Nagi left him, his goal had already changed.

He wanted Nagi to crawl back to him saying that he needs him.
