Chapter IV

This is the present ^^. The time where all the heavy things have passed.

"Hey, purple bun! Are you up for a practice today?" Shidou said then laughed at the end.

"Ugh. You know, I'm not trying to be Sae right? Go find someone else to dump your Sae obsession on." He was irritated by Shidou, well not because Shidou's strong but, it's because he always behaves like a child. But Reo liked playing with him. It was probably because of Shidou's monstrous yet unbelievable goals.

"Now now, come on now princess. I just missed playing with Sae you know? He's always busy with his own battle. Well, don't worry, Sae will always be my number one even if you could copy him. " Reo literally just walked away from Shidou, and not glancing back. He's had enough of his whining and his simping.

This was the start of their break on blue lock. Ego decided to give them some time to rest and think about some things, to maybe reconcile with someone by any chance?...Well, we know Mikage. He's stubborn yet very easy to please ( only if you are Nagi ). Reo was walking through the hallway to think about some things that happened in the past. He definitely has no sympathy or any kindness left to forgive Nagi. Well does he...? (Of course he does, he's Mikage Reo for god's sake, he'd always be head over heels for Nagi)

He was about to go back to his room when he suddenly heard a thud at a nearby room beside him. And of course, curiosity kills the cat. He went and investigated it.

"Uh? Anybody there?" He asked yet no response. The only sound he could hear was his voice echoing through the room. He went inside and saw some boxes covering something, he thought, is that a rat's nest?. He went towards the boxes to fix it properly when someone suddenly grabbed him from the waist.

"What the fuc-"

"Shh"

He knew who it was. He knew but he wants to deny it. He wants to talk but the person's hand was on his mouth covering it. He literally prayed to god at that moment that it was just a big rat on a human form instead of who he has in mind. He almost stood up but he didn't get to because someone suddenly spoke at the entrance of the room.

"What was that sound? Did you hear that? " it was Isagi. The one who he hated the most.

"No, I don't think there's anything there. Probably just some unused items." An unfamiliar yet familiar voice.

The footsteps finally retreated. He finally had a chance to get out from that uncomfortable place. But not in Nagi's presence.

"Reo..."

"...." They were quiet. It was silence but it was a loud one. A loud silence.

"Don't touch me." He said with a stern voice.

"Reo. Are you still mad at me..?" Nagi was practically begging for forgiveness.

"How naive." Said Reo then he finally stood on his feet and went out of the room leaving a dejected Nagi. Of course he had mixed feelings about it. He didn't know if it was the right to do, but there was a tiny lingering emotion that he felt. it was relief, relieved that Nagi didn't ignore or rejected him. He was grateful yet regretful at the same time.

A day passed and he couldn't forget what happened. He's just basically sitting on the bench right now and spacing out. He's thinking about what he should do if he and Nagi met again. Would they be awkward or it would be the same as yesterday? He was about to stand up when Shidou suddenly grabbed his shoulder to sit him back down.

"Thinking of something so deep eh? Not really like you ube head." There is the mighty Shidou again. But he has no time to deal with him right now.

"It's nothing. Just ran to someone I knew" he felt like there was something wrong with the way he said it.

"Oh ho? Was it your ex-boyfriend, The genius Seishiro?"

Reo was stunned when Shidou said that.

"How do you know Nagi? "

"Ha? What do you mean? Bachira literally told almost the whole team that you guys were exes." Shidou was confused the same as Reo was.

"Bachira?? Isagi's partner?"

"Yeah?, I heard that the genius was the one who dumped you?" You could literally see the grin that shaped up on Shidou's face.

"Well, I wouldn't say dump. We were never dating. At least for him, we weren't."

"Oh, so you still like him until now?"

Reo was dumbfounded. He convinced himself that he got over Nagi already.

"No, I'm not that weak. It's just a person. It's easy to move on." That's what he said.

"I see, then. Would you mind if I court you while Sae is not here?" Shidou said with his joyful and playful voice.

"What the fuck? Are you high?" I mean, Reo was definitely not having it at that moment. So he didn't say anything else.

"I've always been high for you, purple bun"

"For God's sake, please stop that annoying tone." Reo finally left a laughing Shidou alone. He thought that Shidou was just joking.

Another practice for them. Reo is currently playing with Shidou as usual but he's more touchy than his normal self.

"Could you stop that clingy hand of yours? One more touch and I'm gonna send it back to your mother's womb." Reo is a hundred percent bothered by it.

"Why? Did your ex not let you feel some love language?" Shidou was laughing hysterically and was about to place a hand on Reo's head to pat him but at the speed of light someone suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Reo said stop already" Nagi was there standing beside them with his terrifying aura. Shidou could literally smell jealousy reeking out of him.

"Huh? Mr. Genius? What's your business here?" You could see Shidou looking serious but deep down he's smiling mouth to ear.

"I wanted to talk with Reo. That's the reason why I'm here." He still hasn't let go of Shidou's hand. But Instead of letting it go, he threw it like it was a piece of crap to the ground.

"Hmm, fair enough. Then I guess I'll leave you alone." Shidou walked away from them and went back to his dorm to eat some of his leftover food. Reo was about to follow Shidou but Nagi grabbed his wrist.

"Reo. I want to talk with you."

"We have nothing to talk about." Reo hides his face from Nagi. He doesn't want to see him looking vulnerable. Reo was trying to get Nagi's hand out of his wrist but he finally said something that made Reo stop.

"If you keep resisting, I will kiss you until you're out of breath." He said with definitely no hesitation.

Reo finally stopped resisting and just accepted his fate. He finally looked up and met Nagi's eye.

"What do you wanna talk about??"
