The door opened slowly. It seemed like it was slow motion. They were very afraid of who would see this. They had no idea, so they both stared at the door opening. When they looked to see who it was, they saw that it was Lyanna. Oh shit. Lyanna was one of the only ones who really shouldn't be seeing this. They were both very scared about what was going to happen.
"What the fuck are you two doing in the bathroom together without locking the door. Is this a secret meeting or something. And I wasn't invited. I really don't understand you guys," Lyanna said. "Sorry darling, you had class. We didn't want to disturb you," Sarah said. "You were teaching. That class is much more important than us," Avery said.
At this point, Avery and Sarah thought they could get out of it. However, that was not the case. Lyanna looked at them very strangely. It was neither happy nor angry. They didn't know what was going on. They couldn't tell from her face what the situation was. But they just had to pretend that nothing is wrong and that this is the most normal situation ever. Only that is very difficult when you cannot see how someone is feeling. And that scares Sarah a lot. But not only Sarah, but also Avery finds the situation frightening. But she doesn't know how to help Sarah and that's the hard part.
"Sarah can I speak to you alone for a moment. Without Avery," Lyanna said. "Yeah sure," Sarah said. "I then go and talk to other colleagues. Will I see you guys in a bit?" asks Avery. "Sure, we'll see you in a bit," Lyanna said. "Okay until then," Avery said. "Enjoy your free hour a little longer. Then we'll see you in a minute", Sarah said. "Bye ladies," Avery said. "Bye," Lyanna said.
Sarah's heart is pounding in the back of her throat. She is so nervous. She doesn't know what to expect. Lyanna has never gotten mad at her before so she just doesn't know what she's going to do. Lyanna and Sarah walk upstairs and go to a school office that is empty. When they get there they walk inside and Lyanna locks the door. Lyanna stands in front of Sarah and she says nothing. Just nothing. For a minute it's just completely silent. All they hear is chatter from the hallway. Until Sarah can't take the silence anymore and starts talking.
"What is wrong Lyanna? You wanted to talk to me right?", Sarah asks. "You'd better explain to me why you're in a bathroom stall with Avery," Lyanna said. "It's nothing bad. We just needed to discuss something private and then we thought the bathroom would be a good place," Sarah said. "Oh no Sarah don't lie to me. I want you to go tell me the truth," Lyanna said. "I'm fucking serious. Why don't you believe me? Then what do you think I was doing?", asks Sarah. "Oh are we suddenly going to turn it around Sarah? That's smart. I just wanted to know what happened, but apparently I'm not being taken seriously," Lyanna said. "Lyanna you know I would never lie. Avery is my best friend and my ex. We were discussing the situation with my husband and not everyone needs to hear that. It's just hard," Sarah said. "I'm so sorry Sarah. I didn't realize you were talking to her about it," Lyanna said. "I know. There's nothing you can do about it. But you said yesterday that you still wanted to talk to me about something. We can do that now anyway," Sarah said. "Oh it's nothing bad. It's more that Ellie and Hailey are still being really annoying and laughing all the time," Lyanna said. "I have to teach them today. That will be fun," Sarah said. "Make the most of it I'd say. Maybe they'll act nicer with you than with me," Lyanna said. "I hope so," Sarah said.
Lyanna and Sarah walk out of the office. They talk some more about the thing with Ellie and Hailey. Sarah said she might talk to them, but only if they misbehaved again. Because honestly, she didn't feel like talking to them anymore. But if she had to, she would. She spent the rest of the break chatting with Avery and Leah. At least they're having a good time. After the break they went back to class and the class after that was Ellie and Hailey's class. Ellie and Hailey's class started, but Sarah was so incredibly nervous. Which, by the way, was totally unnecessary because Ellie and Hailey were also very anxious. Class began. Ellie and Hailey were back in the back left. They were giggling all the time.Sarah found that very annoying, but the lesson was not so important so she did nothing about it. Sarah found that very annoying, but she had to get on with the lesson. As she went to print something she kept thinking about the situation with Ellie and Hailey. Last time they had gone too far, and now again. When she returned to the classroom with the copies, she asked Ellie and Hailey if they could join her in the hallway. She wanted to have a word with the girls.
"'Well well well ladies. Here they are, the two of them, but they're not laughing. But I am. I just wanted to tell you that it is very rude to laugh all the time during my class. I have a feeling you might be laughing at me. And that's disrespectful. Your friends will let you all down if you act like that to them. And then also run away from me. I am your teacher, you have to respect me," Sarah said. "Madam we are not laughing at you," says Ellie. "'Yeah right. But I will keep an eye on you guys. You won't get rid of me that easily. You may go back inside," Sarah said.
