Sarah hurried to the classroom where Hailey and Ellie were having their first lesson. Their first lesson was with Avery, something Sarah didn't know. She walked into the classroom and saw her. Avery. Oh boy, Sarah was pissed.
"Hey Sarah, didn't expect to see you here. How's it going?" said Avery. "Please just shut up. Are Hailey and Ellie here?" asked Sarah. "Yes, the girls are here. Why?", Avery asked. "I need to talk to them. It's urgent," Sarah said. "Hailey and Ellie, Miss Timmermans wants to talk to you," Avery said. "Oh okay," Ellie said. "Can you come with me?" asked Sarah. "Yes of course," Hailey said.
Hailey and Ellie walked up to Sarah and followed her into an empty room to talk. Oh boy, Sarah was so nervous. She was shaking. She had never been so nervous. Sarah sat down at the table and Ellie and Hailey sat on the other side.
"What's wrong? Why did you want to talk to us?" asked Hailey. "Well, I had to ask you something. I know we've had our rough times and we don't like each other, but I think you have a better idea of the situation than I do," Sarah said. "Are you talking about Lyanna?" asked Ellie. "Why do you say that? It could be something else," Hailey said. "Well, it is about Lyanna," Sarah said. "Oh damn, I'm sorry. What is going on?" asked Hailey. "Well, I think you already knew, but Lyanna and I are in a relationship. And we have had our rough times, and we had another painful situation yesterday. I don't know what to do. Does she still like me?" asked Sarah. "We don't know everything, but the way she looks at you is magical," Hailey said. "We know when you text her. She starts to blush and her mood changes instantly," Ellie said. "You guys are perfect for each other," Hailey said. "Life can be hard. But the question is whether you want to fight for her. For your relationship with her," Ellie said. "I really like her. I love her. But she has hurt me so much. I don't think I can deal with that," Sarah said. "We can give you advice, but we can't make your decision for you. We see a lot. And we see that you love each other so much. Fight for her if that's what you want to do," Ellie said.
That got Sarah thinking. She wanted Lyanna so badly, but is she prepared to fight for her? To forgive her for the stupid things she had done. Sarah doubts herself. Can she do it. Maybe she can. But is it the right thing to do? Sarah went to her classroom and Hailey and Ellie also left to theirs classroom.
Sarah walked towards her classroom. She didn't know what to do with Lyanna. Sarah loves her so much, but Lyanna had made so much dumb decisions. She opened the door of her classroom. She put her bag on a chair and sat doen at her desk. She cried. Sarah didn't know what to do and it made her insecure. It was like she was stuck inside her thought and feelings. When the class came in, they saw that their teacher was crying. Some of the students walked up to her and asked what was wrong. Sarah said that it was nothing, but that she was going trough a rough time. They weren't convinced, but they knew that she was not going to tell the truth. Everyone was sitting on a chair. Sarah started the class.
"Well hello students. You guys might have noticed, but I'm not feeling well. I do want to teach for you people, so I'm trying to be your happy French teacher. I might not succeed, but know that I'm trying", Sarah said. "What happens miss?", a student asked. "I'm going trough a rough period in my life. It's complex", Sarah said. "Story time?", another student asked. "I don't think you want to know", Sarah said. "Miss, we really want to know. We're curious", a student said. "Well than I will tell you", Sarah said.
Sarah told them the story about Lyanna and her. Not the whole story obviously, but it made Sarah feel better. The students were very understanding. They understood that Sarah was not feeling well. Sarah almost cried. She loved how the kids reacted. She couldn't imagine how lucky she was teaching this class.
"This story is pretty intens miss", a student said. "I know Kayla. It's just so much for me to feel at the moment. Sometimes I feel like im drowning in my own thoughts and feelings", Sarah said. "We are here for you. You can always talk to us. We want to help you. You're our favourite teacher", a student said. "That's really sweet Skye. But I can not always talk about my problems. We have like six weeks until the summer break. And you guys do need to make a final test", Sarah said. "We can combine learning and talking right. The first thirty minutes we can do French, and the last half hour we can talk", a student said. "That's a great idea miss. Right", Kayla said. "Mary it is a great idea. I might do that. But now we need to do some French. Open your textbooks", Sarah said.
The rest of the class was seriously learning. But the kids felt so bad for their teacher. They didn't know what to do. Sarah didn't know what to do either. Well she did know, but she didn't know for sure if that was the best idea to do. At the end of the day, Sarah immediately went home. She needed to think. She laid on the couch for a very long time. At some point, Maggie thought Sarah was sleeping. Around one o'clock, Sarah went to bed to get some rest. And she wasn't prepared what would come the next day.
