emani had invited me and the rest of the girls to stay over at her house tonight after jahsehs party and i couldn't wait

i'm honestly surprised my mom didn't beat my ass about staying over with someone she didn't know well but i guess she was sober enough to be nice

emani had a car so i pretty much just waited on her to text me when she got here

i glanced over at my mom who was in the kitchen making some type of alcoholic drink as she poured more than enough tequila into her glass

i wish she would just put it all down i just want my mom back

my phone then buzzed so i flipped it over to see an instagram dm from emani

lonebrain: hey girlyy i'm outsideeeee 🤭

i grabbed my backpack full of my things on my back and made my way to the front door

i turned back once again at my mom to tell her i was leaving

"bye mom i'll see you sunday" i said opening the door

"okay sweetie have fun" she said blowing me a kiss

i then walked outside and shut the door behind me as i made my way to emanis car

i got in and she smiled at me

"oh my gawdd i can't believe she's letting you stay i can't wait for us to finally get to have some real fun" she said putting the car in drive

"i know i can't wait either, are jahsehs parties good?" i asked hoping this wouldn't be a waste

"girl jahsehs parties be the talk of the town they be so crazy that the cops be coming" she laughed

"ooo bet i've never been to a party before so i hope i like it" i responded looking out the window

"trust me you won't be disappointed" she said as she turned up the radio

we listened to one of her songs i believe as the girl who was singing it sounded like emani and she knew every single word

i liked it a lot and was proud of her for having this talent

~time skip to emanis house~

we arrived at emanis twenty minutes later as she pulled her car into the driveway

i then grabbed my phone and backpack to prepare going in the house when emani stopped me

"hang on your cool with all the girls in my group before we head in right?" she asked me in a concerned tone

"uh who's all the girls again" i said acting confused

"well it's ayleks and skye" she said

i really didn't want to have to deal with skye's weird ass but it look like i don't got a choice

and i haven't even talked to ayleks since we kissed in the bathroom so i have no idea what she thinks of me at this point

"well i'm good with ayleks things are kinda weird between me and skye" i answered truthfully

"i'm sure she'll come around but if both of them don't like you fuck them im the only girl friend you need to be honest" emani said assuring me

i always liked emani for how caring she is

we then headed into her house and made our way upstairs to her room
