"okay we are going to make sure we get all this paperwork filled out and submitted so you can go back to the comfort of home" one of the doctors said to me and my mom

"ohhh yay i can't wait to have my baby cherry home again plus i know she misses her friends" my mom replied to the doctor as she held my hand

i wish i could have my mom sober all the time like this not just when important events happen or i end up in the hospital

i seriously miss how my mom was before my father left us

if it weren't for that i would never want to be suicidal

after about five minutes of filling out things and talking with the doctor it was time to gather my things and get ready for reality again

"now cherry since we can't let you just go cold turkey you will have two appointments per week to make sure you are progressing well back into life these will take place on mondays and fridays" the doctor said as he handed me a paper of the appointment details

"that's okay i understand" i agreed with the doctor

my mom then picked up my backpack that i had from the night i was supposed to be staying at michaels

i put my phone in my pocket and put my slides on that were next to the bed

i looked around at the room that i spent all this time recovering in one more time before following my mom out back into the main hospital

~time skip to cherrys house~

i missed my room i haven't really spent much time here with always hanging out with my new friends at their houses

i don't know what it will be like going back to school tomorrow like nothing happened i just hope it hasn't spread around the school so no one messes with me

i laid in my bed and grabbed my phone to get on

my lock screen read Tuesday, March 2nd 3:15pm

i decided to post a pic on my instagram since i haven't been active lately

i then posed looking away from the camera before clicking the picture

since it was pretty cute to me i just posted the pic right away

afterwards i closed instagram and went to the facetime app to face time emani instead of just calling

the phone rang a bit before i saw emanis face come into frame

"OH MY GOSH GIRLLL YOU ARE SO BACK" she said making me laugh

i looked at cherrys post as i sat at the end of skye's bed wondering if it was all even worth it

"what's wrong daddyy" skye asked putting her hands on my shoulders

she looked over my shoulder and i hurried up and scrolled past cherry before she could even see it

"nothing it was just some random model twerking" i answered

"ohh okay well in that case i do wanna seriously talk" skye mentioned as she sat right beside me

i really hope it's not no bullshit

"do you really wanna be with me again for me or do you feel like im holding you back" she asked with a serious expression on her face

this has got to be the smartest thing she's asked in a long time

but to be honest i wanna have her and have cherry at the same time but i know that's never possible

i then cupped her face into my hands

"skye i love you i'm sorry for ruining your life making you have doubts you the best i could ever have if i'm being honest"

she gave me a reassuring look but also looked like she was finna cry

"aww for real michael?" she questioned as she rubbed on my chest

"yes skye you one of the loves of my life ill make a whole song about you if i'm being honest"

"i love you and our whole life together" skye said before giving me a kiss on the lips

i kissed her back and thought about the first time i met skye

~flashback to trippie's sophomore year~

"not gon lie you gotta stop acting like a depressed bitch" jahseh told md as he threw a muffin at me

i then pushed jahseh off the bench making him fall down on the floor

"that's what yo ass get fuckin with the emo nigga" ski said as he laughed at jahseh

faygo then brought his lunch tray to the table looking hype as hell

"the fuck you so happy for" i asked

"well why yo ass sit here and be sad over ayleks you missed skye's glow up after her break up with ole girl" faygo said as he sat down across from me

skye? that name sound familiar but i never really payed any attention to her

janseh finally got off the floor after him and ski stopped laughing

"oh yea skye she in my history class shawty kinda thick"  jahseh said nudging me

i honestly haven't thought about another girl since i've been with ayleks for so long she was all i knew

"what can i say thanks to jah and just the simple fact that i'm that nigga" i laughed

ever since then i've been head over heals for skye since she saved my heart and perception about women

i don't know how i ever did her wrong
