Family Dinner (Fluff)

It has been two months since the final decision was given for Lucas being not guilty, two months of doing non stop community service to get his required 600 hours.

It was very hard work, he was required along with select few others to start some large garden at a new building being build in another city. Lucas never really knew gardening takes so much work, it didn't get any better since he was doing that in the dead of heat. Despite how hard it was Lucas preferred it over going to jail. He decided that he would work ten hours everyday for the past two months to go on and get the hours done that way he can go on and get things done a month early to just ensure he would meet the deadline.

Lucas did not want to procrastinate when it came to this, everyone kept telling him he could stretch it out to where he didn't have to work ten hours every single day for the past two months but Lucas insisted that he would be completely fine and he just wanted to get it over with. Max feared that he would overwork himself as well as his parents, everyone did, but Lucas told them and had a long talk with them letting them know he would be fine and he would much rather be tired and get done early rather than fine and be late and go to jail.

It was hard, every night he would come back tired, take a shower and go to bed. It was even nights where he would have to stay later then his ten hour time since some of the other workers messed up his progress and deliberately sabotaged his stuff. Lucas did not lash out however and he was proud of himself, now he is just glad that tonight he finally finished his last ten hours and his 600 hours is now complete. Despite the growing anger he did feel when something he worked so hard at was destroyed and people laughing in his face for it he didn't loose his temper, he just went back and fixed it up again and he was round of himself for doing that, plus the boss of the place saw what happened and he made the people start all over again as well as their community service hours so it was a win win.

He has felt bad honestly because he knows that Max wanted to spend time with him on some nights when he came back but he was very tired and always fell asleep as soon as his head hit the bed. He also feels really bad because every night Max would give Lucas back massages to lure him into sleep and to relax his muscles. He would always come back with a sore back most of all because he always had to bend down to plant flowers among other things.

The past two months have been working out well. Lucas talks to his parents now with no issue, they have not really talked to Lucas about what was he hiding but Lucas knows there will come a point in time where they do. Lucas knows that they are just giving him time to go on and get his community service done and just let that be the main focus.

Joyce's meeting was about a promotion her boss gave to her so she is now the owner of the store and she asked Eleven to be the manager of the store. Eleven happily agreed, Max being one of the workers at the store as well. Suzie still works at her telemarketing job that she loves, she sells computers and she loves talking to the people about how it works and the technical capabilities of it, it is like her own language that she uses with them. Mike still works with mowing lawns and growing food in the farms. Unfortunately when Lucas was tied down with community service the boss decided to lay him off, so he knows soon now since he did all of his hours he will have to find a new job.

Dustin still works at his same job at RadioShack, him talking to customers about specific cameras and different technologies being apart of his language as well. Steve and Hopper still make the town safe and happy with their police jobs, Robin and Vicki still work happily at the movie theater and Nancy enjoys her job at Hawkins Post. They all couldn't ask for anything better.

Max and Eleven have been happily helping Joyce make plans for the wedding. As of right now no set date has been put in place but they are looking at different locations they want the wedding to be at and of course the different brides and grooms. Joyce chose for Max and Eleven to be the maid of honors while Hopper chose for Johnathan to be the best man. They all decided when Joyce figured out what she wants the theme of the brides to be they will shop for dresses.
