The Mysterious Path// Eddie X reader

Part 6

The shed stayed quiet for a few minutes, I scared them away didn't I? I thought to myself. When I looked up I could tell they were processing everything I had just said. "I should probably go.." As I stood Max walked a bit closer to me asking me a question. "What you showed us... those were memories right?" I nod softly. "What happened to your brother? Cyrus? He wasn't there was he?" I look at her then Dustin shaking my head. I hold my hands in front of me fidgeting with them. "Cyrus left for the war before that happened to our village. I stayed in a small village near by, when I saw Cyrus asking questions about our village.. he saw me and he cried as he ran to me and held me close. He was the only family I had left. It took me a while before I eventually told him about what I am" I look up at Dustin. "You would've loved him. He was just like you." Dustin smiled softly at me. "You remind me so much of him."

I breathed in a bit and looked at the door of the shed. "I'm going to go home. Get some sleep. I will see you tomorrow?" I asked not really knowing if they would want to see me again. "Yeah, tomorrow." Eddie spoke. We made eye contact and held it for a few seconds before saying my goodbyes. As I left the shed I walked a few feet away and activated my super hearing stopping in to hide behind a tree in the woods. 

"I don't think we should trust her" I heard Steve say. "I can understand why Steve but we need her.. and from what I can tell from her story she needs us too." answered Max. "Does anybody feel like she isn't even real? I mean have you seen her powers? And what the hell is a tribrid? I mean she changed reality, literally, like who even does that- actually scratch that- how can she even do that and not break a sweat?" Robin rambled on. Dustin pointed at her "Exactly, she's powerful Steve. Whether you trust her or not we need her. Plus she's my ancestor, which is awesome." Dustin smiled letting his arm down. Steve looked down considering it. "Plus she's crazy hot. I mean did you see her?" Eddie adds on. I smile to myself hearing him say that. They all looked at him as he smiles. He sees the looks they're giving him and his smile falls making a neutral face and turns looking at the water. 

I stopped using my hearing and looked at the ground. Robin's right. I do need them.. and they need me. My hands make small blue spheres and I look at the sky as I use my powers to fly my way home. As soon as I make it back to my home I lock all the doors and windows heading to my bedroom. I shower and get ready for bed falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. 

Waking up from the ground, I look around confused as to why I'm here. 'What the hell happened?'  I think to myself standing up. I dust myself off and walk around the woods. "Is this the upside down?"  I walk a little further and see everything around me red. The sky, the ground, all of it. Red. I walk a little further and see... Max? and Henry? My eyes widen 'What the hell is going on?' I think to myself. I hide behind a tree. 

Max is getting choked by branches and Vecna steeps closer to her ready to kill her. My eyes widen and I step out screaming "NO, MAX!" Vecna stops and looks my way. I gasp a little bit not really expecting him to see me. 'This is a dream right?' I notice the scenery change so I'm the one standing in front of him instead of Max. Only difference is I'm not tied up. "And who might you be?" he asks confused as to who I was. He wraps his hand around my neck choking me. As soon as he touches my skin my eyes glow blue along with my hands making spheres as I throw him across the room. "Just someone who's going to stop you... Henry" I look at him seeing him stunned and surprised. He suddenly throws a piece of his home my way  and everything goes black. 

I wake up screaming and panting. What the hell was that?  I look around my room seeing a mess everywhere Did I do that? I think to myself. Max... she's next. My eyes widen in realization I quickly get out from the covers seeing it is daylight outside. How long have I been sleeping?  I quickly get dressed in a black v-neck long sleeve crop top and some jeans with my black ankle boots. I rush out the door and get in my car. I close my eyes concentrating.

Nancy and Robin are at an insane asylum while the others are at a cemetery. I notice Max's wearing the outfit she was wearing in my dream.  My eyes snap open and they glow blue as I start the car and drive to the cemetery. Vecna is coming and he won't stop 'til he gets what he wants. As I drive my eyes glow brighter and brighter. I get tot the cemetery quickly and step on the breaks rushing to get out as the others are surrounding her screaming for her attention. "Get out of the way!!" I yell as I make spheres of blue surrounding my hands. I lift myself off the ground as Max is being lifted. I fly in front of her. "Max!" I take a deep breath and close my eyes. 

I snap my eyes open being in the place I was dreaming about. In the woods I remember so well I run to where I know she is. As I run I lift myself up flying making a force field around me to prevent the bats to get to me. As I get closer I see Max looking at the portal to where she actually is. 

Outside Y/n has her eyes open as her body glows red as do her eyes as she stares at Max. 

"MAX!" I quickly throw a sphere at Henry so he is blown away. I land in front of Max protectively. "Leave her alone, Henry!" Henry  stands up looking extremely pissed off. "And who the hell are you?" he questions with venom in his voice. "A friend of Eleven." I smirk and throw multiple spheres at him until he lets Max go. Vecna uses pieces of his home to throw at me as I easily throw them to the side or dodge them, until eventually one of them hits my abdomen and I get pinned to the ground. I look over to Max seeing her struggling with the vines. I look back at Henry  seeing him focused on me. I use my powers to free Max without him looking. I scream out in pain as he tightens the piece of his home around me struggling for me to breath. With one big breath I yell to Max. "Run Max! RUN!!" 

Max looks over at me and hesitates for a second but runs to the portal as Henry tries to stop her. With the last force I have I scream out as I get the huge piece of wood off of me. I fly up to the sky and fly towards Max helping aid her. I make a force field around us and reach down picking her up by the waist. "Hold on!" I yell out as I race towards the slowly closing portal. I lose concentration as I throw her into the portal to which I fall to the ground harshly as a piece of brick hits my back harshly. I groan and slowly stand  jumping into the portal. 

Max snaps out of the trance and falls to the ground with Steve catching her and holding her. Dustin and Lucas check on Max while Max looks up at y/n. The others look up seeing y/n still in a trance, her body and eyes glowing red instead of their usual blue. 

A/n I know it has been a while but I started working but I will try my hardest to come back to writing. I also just kind of lost motivation but I do want to get back to writing. Please be patient because there will be slow updates.
