The Mysterious Path// Eddie X reader

Part 7

Snapping out of the trance I fall to the ground with a grunt. "Shit, that hurt" I stand up and look at the others as they surround Max making sure she is safe. "Are you okay?" I ask her. They all look at me as she nods softly "Thank you... for saving me." I smile softly "Anytime." I hold my hand out for her as she takes it to stand up. "That. Was. Awesome!" Dustin yells, smiling widely. I smile softly. Steve looks as if he's debating something, as if he's choosing whether to say something or not, until he finally speaks up. "I didn't trust you at first.." He admits "but you just proved yourself by saving Max." I look at him nodding my head softly. "I should go check on Eddie, see if he's doing okay." Lucas nods. "Yeah, we'll let you know if we need you" I nod and start walking to my car. 

"Who's Henry?" Max asks. I stop walking and turn my head to look at her softly. "That's Vecna's real name." They all look at each other wondering how I could possibly know his. "I'll tell you more when I get back. For now meet up with the others, find out what you can." Steve nods softly as I continue heading to my car. I get in and buckle up driving to the shed Eddie's hiding at. 

As I arrive to the place I park the car behind some trees and walk the rest of the way making sure my car is hidden. I knock on the shed three times. "Eddie, it's y/n." As soon as I finish the sentence Eddie opens the door and pulls me in shutting the door and looking outside the window. "Were you followed?" He asks a little paranoid. "No, I made sure of it." He closes the little curtain and looks at me. "How is it out there? Are they still looking for me?" I nod softly. "Yeah, they are. They still think you killed Chrissy. Her boyfriend is looking for you.. uh what's his face?" Eddie chuckles a bit. "Jason?" "Yeah him! Him and his idiots of friends" I nod softly. "I came to see if you were okay, and if maybe you needed someone to talk to?" I step in the boat and sit down tapping the seat besides me. 

Eddie steps towards me but before he could move anymore the sound of a car pulled up. He looked out the window and ducked as soon as he saw Jason outside the dock house. "What's going on?" I whispered. "It's Jason." He whispered back. I quietly climbed out of the boat. "Try to reach Dustin. I'll distract them" I whispered and made myself invisible. Eddie looked astonished but he reached for the walkie attempting to call Dustin for help. I made my way inside the home and made myself visible. I opened the door and greeted Jason and his friends. 

"Can I help you?" I asked stepping out to the porch crossing my arms over my chest. "Were looking for Eddie Munson. Have you seen him?" A blond boy asks who I presume is Jason. I shake my head. "No idea who he is. Why are you looking for him here?" I ask. Jason looks at me as if he's wondering why I'm here and who I am. He looks at his friends as they all look at each other. He looks back at me questioningly "Who are you anyway?" I roll my eyes. "I'm Rick's sister. I'm watching over his place while he's out of town." 

Jason nods as he walks up the steps towards me. "Okay, since you don't know Eddie then you wouldn't mind if we looked around the house?" I laugh as if he's joking. "You're kidding right?" He shakes his head as his friends follow behind him slowly. "You have a warrant? Oh! Wait-You're not cops so no. Now get out if here before I call the cops." Jason steps closer. "Ya know, I did a little research on Rick." I look at him bored out of my mind. "He doesn't have a sister. So who are you really?" I look at him directly in his eyes. 

"Real nice. You did you're homework." I reply sarcastically. "Go away. I won't repeat myself." I drop my arms and stand my ground as Jason looks a little pissed off. Patrick, his friend, taps Jason on his arm and points out into the water. Jason looks over then back at me. "You sure you're alone?" I roll my eyes as he asks the question. "Yes, why do you ask?" I answer bitterly. "Because you're boat is out floating in the lake." I look confused and walk to the other side of the porch looking as Eddie's head pop's put of the boat. "Shit." I mumble. Jason and Patrick ran out onto the water as their friends went to attack me to keep me busy. 

One of them threw me a punch but I moved and grabbed his wrist flipping him on his back. The other went to attack me but I punched him in the face, then kicked him in the stomach so he fell. The other got back up and punched me in the face expecting me to fall to the ground. Instead I just looked at him pissed off as I felt a little blood on my mouth. "You're dead." I grab his arm and twist it and grab his head hitting it on the wooden railing making him pass out. The other guy stood back up about to attack, running at him I used his bent knee, stepping on it with my right leg I swing my left around his neck then swing my body down in a circle until I flip him on the ground. I land on the ground next to him on one knee and flip my hair back. 

I stand up and quickly run out to the pier just in time to see Patrick fall into the water dead. I pant softly. I couldn't save him.. Jason swims back out of the water frightened. I don't pay him any attention as I see Eddie land on the other side of the lake safe. I let out a sigh of relief glad that he is alive and safe. I grunt out in pain feeling someone grab the back of my hair yanking me back as I fall to the ground on my knees. I can hear Eddie yelling out for me in the distance. 

I look behind me seeing Jason. "Are you apart of his cult?!? My friend is dead because of you! Now. You're dead!" I grab his wrist and twist it around as he screams in pain. I pin him to the ground, getting on top of him I lean down to speak in his ear. "Let it go. You have no idea what you are up against. This is bigger than some stupid idiotic cult do you hear me?" He doesn't answer so I move his arm up a little further. He groans and nods his head softly. 

"Let it go. otherwise you will end up dead." I warn him as I let him go and start walking away. Jason stands up and yells after me. "Was that a threat!?" I stop and look at him. "No, it was a warning. I'm not part of some stupid cult. Neither is Eddie, or Dustin, or Lucas. All they do is play D&D. What you are dealing with is bigger than you being angry about Chrissy dying. This is you're last warning. Let. It. Go." With that I walk away to my car and start driving to the other side of the lake. 

I'll stop you Henry... even if it's the last thing I'll ever do.
