(Amy's pov)
Tails turned to me and said "Well I have to go but it nice meeting you Amy!"
"Yeah I must go aswell but you're cool I guess" Shadow said trying to hide a smile from his face
"Well bye guys! See you later" I said then looked at Blaze before her posture stiffened
"Right, sorry about that. Follow me" Blaze said to me then started walking. We got to the class as soon as the second bell rang and Blaze opened the door to the class for me and said "Mrs.Vanilla will surely love you so don't worry about being late" then I smiled and walked into the class and Mrs.Vanilla stopped taking attendance and looked my way and sweetly said "Oh and you must be Amy! You're beautiful by the way and I hope you feel welcomed. My class is a safe space for all my students. You can sit with Blaze." I smiled and quickly said thank you
I looked to Blaze and asked her "Do you know what we're doing today?"
She then frowned and told me "Yeah today we're learning about how to make velvet cake but the only bad part is I suck at baking.". I then gave her a reassuring smile
"Don't worry blaze! you're only looking at the best baker there is! I'll help you" I said sorta sarcastically and then she smiled back before nodding
"Okay I trust you" she said
We start talking and getting all the ingredients then putting everything into the oven. Not even 10 minutes later everyone starts smelling smoke and before we knew it, our cake was on fire!
"Oh my god, Amy i'm so sorry!" Blaze says while freaking out before Mrs.Vanilla puts the fire out
"Blaze it's okay! its not your fault at all. I accidentally put the oven higher than it was supposed to be. I'm sorry." I tell her before I start to hear her cry? no..she starts laughing
"Do you know how many times i've done that? That's why I thought I did it. It's nice knowing someone else isn't perfect at cooking either!" She says while giving me a hug "I already know we'll be great friends Amy" she tells me
I laugh even harder "Okay well now i'm embarrassed but i'm just glad no one is mad. Next time i'll make sure to check the ovens temperature" I said in a half joking tone
Me and Blaze both apologized to Mrs.Vanilla but she said it was okay and mistakes happen though we still offered to help her clean up anyways. After laughing and talking about the incident the bell rings again.
"What class do you have next? Blaze asked
"Hmmm i think i have science. And i'm sure about that" I say before pulling out my phone "Can I have your number? I want to hangout after school sometime" I smiled and Blaze cheeks went red then coughed
"Sorry, I'm just a little shocked is all but of course! We can go get ice cream or have a sleepover sometime." She tells me before putting her number into my phone "Also you have science right? I think you have it with me and Silver!" She says and starts pulling my hand out of the classroom all excited.
(I already love it here! Everyone is so nice.) I thought to myself then smiling

(Sonics Pov)
After English, Silver says bye to Knuckles and me before trying to look for blaze. I have math next with Shadow and Knux which is my specialty, besides track of course. While walking to class I spot Amy and I yelled for her and waved and she looked up then waved back while grinning ear to ear before Blaze tells her to hurry and they both start running leaving Silver behind.
"Guys wait for me! I'm not as fast as you two!" Silver tells them
I laugh to Knuckles "It seems like Blaze and Amy are getting along great. Poor Silver though. Are you ready to fail another semester of math knucklehead?" I said smirking
Knuckles playfully punches my arm and chuckles "As if. I've been studying all summer so don't try me idiot." he says to me "I bet i'll be even better at doing the work than you" then opens the door to the classroom
"That won't happen asswipe. I'm the best math student there is. Maybe you'll be the second best student." I tell him
Knuckles sneers and says "Oh you're on"
A little while later after we take a test to see what we remembered from last year, I start to make my way to Knuckles ready to compare the scores we got. I smiled "Well let's see what you got Mr.Know it all" I say before showing him my paper. Knuckles starts laughing then I look at his paper understanding why
"Dude there's no way! You sucked at math last year! I refuse to believe this" I quietly yelled
"Oh cmon sonic, just admit you have competition now. I told you I studied all summer didn't I?" knuckles says before smirking all over again
I rolled my eyes and said "Whatever man. This means war and I am not afraid to do anything to keep my name as the best math student. I hope that big head of yours can keep up" I grinned
Knuckles then looks at me all pissed "Says the one who looks like a whole ass blueberry." he says before Shadow walks up
"Oh my god you guys both are dumb" then shows us his paper and his score is above both me and Knuckles papers. "Stop bickering and actually start paying attention and study" he tells us then starts to laugh
"Shit. Sonic I think we have an even bigger competition" Knuckles says
"Nah don't even worry Knux. All we have to do is meet up after school and study and before you know it we'll both be the best math students there is and Shadow will be below us." I confidently tell him
"I'd like to see you both try" Shadow says
Knuckles stops and turns to me asking "Wait Sonic, who's going to be the first best student? it can't be the both of us."
"Oh that's an easy, me of course! You can be second which is still better than being lower than Shadow" I say
"Hell no. No way man, i'm being the first" Knuckles says to me with a serious face
"Uh no I am weirdo" I said and before I knew it, me and Knuckles started to bicker all over again
"Here we go again" Shadow says while being all annoyed
