The Way Back To You [FreenBecky]

Freen's POV

Bec and I lay down on her bed. She had her arms, hugging me while I have mine around her neck.

After crying a lot, I calmed down, it's been so long since I felt such comfort like this. I got my best friend back. She snuggles into me like how we used to do it. This is really a milestone. All the pain and guilt I felt after all these years, It's gone now. Well maybe there's still some but Becky really gave me the assurance. All I wanted was to bring her back in my life.

Now, it's time for me to make efforts for her. I still love her and I never got the chance to tell her that.

I continue to caress her hair. There's no space between us, just complete silence but for the first time in a while my stress went away and I feel like I will be able to sleep properly starting today.

Bec suddenly got off and sit, I was gonna sit too but she stopped me and said I should just lay down. She looked at me and put my hair at the back of my ear then she proceeded to caress my face. I just smiled at her but then I started to lean towards her. We just stared at each other.

Then I sat down. I cupped her face. She's so beautiful. It took me a few seconds to start leaning to her. She nodded a little.

Then it happened.

I kissed her. I kissed my best friend, my bb.

I can feel butterflies in my stomach as we kiss.

We parted then, she smiled. I started covering my face because I'm too shy.

She then spoke, "Looks like you took my first kiss Ms. Sarocha."

I was her first kiss? WHAT?! I didn't expect that so you are telling me she's now 25 and haven't gotten her first kiss. Well I am honored but I am shocked, I mean she's so pretty and so kind how come she never got her first kiss until now?

"Done judging me for just having my first kiss bb?" She said to me sarcastically.

"No bb, it's not like that, I am just shocked that I was your first kiss plus you are literally everything how come you haven't kissed anyone and al-" As I was speaking she put her finger to shut my mouth and stop my blabbering.

"Well bb, let's just say I don't want anyone to kiss me, I only let a few person to give me a kiss, my parents, nanny, my friend Irin, and they only kissed my cheeks you know. And I want my first kiss to be with somebody special you know..." Bec said.

I blushed when she said that then I let her rest her head on my shoulders.

"Thank you bb, I am honored to be your first kiss." I said.

"I liked it bb..." After saying that I covered myself with her blanket. Why am I so shy, gosh Freen.

I heard Becky's laugh then she spooned me as we lie down on her bed.

"Let's sleep now sunshine, I know you are tired and you look like you didn't even got to sleep in a while. Thank you for coming back bb." She said.

"Thank you for welcoming me back to your life Bec, thank you." I said.

We may not have a definite label now but at least I am sure that we are friends. About the kiss? Well I don't want to pressure her so I am going to give her time and I'll ask her tomorrow if I can court her.

For now, I am contented to have her.

The next morning

I woke up and Bec was not beside me. Was all that a dream? After then she entered her room with food in tray.

"Hey bb, breakfast in bed?" She said.

I smiled at her then she went in the bed with the food she prepared. She then sat down and I kissed her forehead.

"Thank you bb!" I said to her. She's so pretty.

We started eating, she prepared some french toasts and coffee for me.

I cut the bread and bite on it. While I chew the food, I cut another piece and gave Bec some. Bonbon then went up to bed so we started petting him.

After we are done eating, she leaned into my shoulder, then I pat her head.

"Did you like it?" She asked cutely. How can I resist her when she's like this. "Yes bb, thank you for the breakfast." I said while smiling at her.

We just stayed like that in a few minutes then I spoke up.

"Bec, may I ask? What are we?" She looked at me after I said that then went to properly sit down. Is this the wrong timing to ask her. Oh no Freen, why did you ask that.

"Freen, I'm gonna be honest, I don't know. I mean we are back as friends but I don't know. However though, I like that you are back in my life now." She said.

"Bec, I don't know if this is too fast but, I want to ask for your permission if I can court you?" I said. "It took me so long to say this to you but now is the perfect time. I like you Bec, I've always liked you. This is not as romantic as how I planned to confess to you but I don't want to lose you again. It's better that I say this now. I really really like you Bec, more than a friend. I like you." I said. While saying all that my heart starts to beats fast. I finally confessed to her.

We are in complete silence now.

She suddenly said, "Freen, I like you, I still like you. After all these years I thought I can move on from you. But I was wrong. I like you, you are the only one who I liked ever since." She sincerely said to me. Tears started roaming down in my face. "And bb, yes. You may court me, but..."

"But what?" I asked.

"Only if you allow me to court you too." She said. I sighed in relief, I thought she won't agree.

She hugged me then and kissed my cheeks. "Thank you, my bb." Bec said.

This is totally the happiest moment in my life. I finally got her back.
