Chapter 11 - Admitting Defeat ("You can come with
me, or you can take your stuff and go back to your
own place.") (1)

Right after the rain, there were no clouds in the sky,
and everything was a clear blue color.

The burning sun came pouring in from the
floor-to-ceiling windows as though it wanted to dry
up every bit of dirt and impurities.

Eun-jie, standing in front of Lin Jennie, looked both
like an eggplant that had been pelted by hail and a
criminal being interrogated. Cold sweat broke out on
her forehead. Looking straight down and staring at
the hem of Lin Jennie's dress, she said in a submissive tone, "Jen-jie, I... I will assign a better car to Lisa and also a couple more assistants."

Lin Jennie adjusted her collar expressionlessly and
said, "No need. Starting now, Lisa will go under me.
You go to HR downstairs and hand over everything.
no need to come back starting tomorrow."

Eun-jie was stunned for a second, and her face
turned red from rage.

After signing the document, Jennie handed Xu
Lisa a stack of scripts to look over at the comfort
of her own home. All of them were high budget
productions, the ones that the original owner wouldn't even dream about in the past.

She went downstairs carrying the stack of scripts
with her and saw an Alfa parked squarely at the
front Her chauffeur and her assistant Xiao Rose
stood respectfully by the car and said at the same
time, "Hi, Miss Xu!"

The van wasn't a very expensive one, just enough to
show one's status and standing.

Things were so different... now that she owns a part of the company.

In the document that she signed earlier, the seller of
the stocks was a name that she didn't recognize, but
she figured Mu Jungkook must be the one behind all
this.

She hadn't expected him to help her out in this way.

On her way home, she started flipping through the
stack of scripts in the car. They were all of the most popular topics currently. When she was mulling over them, one of the thinnest ones caught her attention - "The Blossoming Us“.

The only reason that it caught her attention was
because its name had appeared in the original novel.
even though it was a short blurb, she could still
remember it clearly. The script "The Blossoming
Us" wasn't as valuable as any of the other high
budget productions. Contrarily, it was very niche.
nobody had expected this very niche show to strike
gold throughout the entire country. It was extremely
popular among all age levels. All the main characters
in the show along with a few supporting characters
all became very hot and crossed over into the realm
of first-tier after the show.

And this unusual web series was one of the favorites of Mu Jungkook's grandmother and aunty. The two of them were so addicted to the show that they couldn't even eat or drink. They only wish they could pay a few million dollars to buy some sort of membership so they can watch the entire show in one sitting.

Xu Lisa picked out the "The Blossoming Us"
from the stack and handed it over to Xiao Rose. "Tell Jen-jie this is the next one that I want to take."

Xiao Rose looked at the name of the show and was
dumbfounded - Miss Xu now owns 30% of the
company and had also been re-assigned to the best
agent in the entire company. With all of her backing
and the show that she has decided on was a... Web
series?

What about all the ones that everybody else was
fighting over?

That being said, she had noticed that Miss Xu had
been different recently. She had become prettier,
and much more decisive. Xiao Rose dare not say too
much. She just took the script from her and made a
mental note.
