Chapter 8 | Don't You Worry About Me

!Not going to lie... This fight scene is super short in the anime... So... I'll probably keep this one somewhat short!

---Narration---

Goku and Leon are clearly distressed at there situation, and vows to rescue there son; Krillin and Master Roshi offer to help them fight although Goku tells them to stay because she doesn't want them to be killed again since Shenron can only revive someone once. Before they can depart, however, she is confronted by her nemesis Piccolo. Piccolo encountered Raditz after Raditz had first arrived on Earth and was terrified by his raw power. Aware that they now have a common enemy, Piccolo suggests that he, Goku and Leon join forces to confront Raditz, which Goku hesitatingly agrees to. Bulma offers up her Dragon Radar so that Piccolo, Goku and Leon can track the 4-star Dragon Ball in Gohan's hat, thus finding his location.

---Leon Pov---

Goku leaps off her Nimbus and lands atop her feet atop the ground before her brother, Piccolo flies in and lands behind her, and I race in sliding atop my feet to a stop beside the two. "Well, well, if it isn't little sister, her little pathetic husband, and the green man, I don't see the hundred human bodies, so I can assume this won't be a friendly visit." Raditz states, as Goku and Piccolo begin to strategize. I stare out at the crater behind him, sensing my son's energy with in the crater, and I hyperfocus on that fact alone. So focused on that, I don't notice Piccolo and Goku taking off their weighted pieces of clothing, till Goku tapped on my shoulder. "Take any weighted clothes you've got on off.. We can't afford any extra weight on us whilst we battle him." She calmly, and worriedly as a wife and a friend asks of me. I nod, and grab my plaid shirt and rip the bastard clean off and throw it out into the distance out at Raditz as a form of intimidation along with grabbing to rip the weighted T that Goku had tailor made for me, but pause, and glance down at it, and find no desire in my heart to ruin something she'd gotten me, I cherish this T a lot, even if it does feel uncomfortable and weights 5 tons *Weighted clothes in Dragon ball are insane* I casually take it off and drop it atop the ground where it makes cracks in the ground around it like Goku and Piccolos weighted clothes, and take off my arm bands and weighted martial arts boots, Goku and Piccolo do the same.

The machine on Raditz face begins beeping and three sets of numbers begin to raise as we finished taking off this weighted clothing. "Weird... Their power levels are rising somehow..." He comments under his breath. I once more stare out towards the crater behind him and begin to hyperfocus again on my son's energy. Raditz and Goku have a few back and fourths before She booms at him demanding to know where he'd hidden our son, and he informs of her what he did with him, she flies into the air and only now senses him in the crater. "Don't worry Gohan!!! Mommy's going to get you out of there!" She shouts down towards the crater with a motherly worried and determined tone. I slowly pan my eyes over from the crater onto Raditz and grunt out with a focused and serious noise. He notices my change of expression, as I find hope in the outcome of this battle, hearing my master trusted, and believed that I could, and was ready to use the Kaioken. Zoning almost completely out from Goku and Piccolos bickering as they prepared to engage Raditz, I go to full power, and burst with an aggressive aura, unable to retain and keep my energy from seeping out. (For those wondering, Aura's aren't a good thing in the DB universe, it's a sign of stamina and ki leakage, and imperfection in ki and energy manipulation of a form the only aura that this doesn't apply to is Kaioken from my understanding)

As Piccolo and Goku charged at Raditz, I growled out whilst making dead eye contact with Raditz. "Kaioken" My aura burst out into red and doubled in size. Following this I flashed with speed past the two and closed the distance into right in Raditz face who'd not anticipated this speed so suddenly. I race around him whilst having a fist raised and bash it into his face as I passed, and arced it forwards and then down slamming him back of the head first atop the very ground creating a head sized crater in the ground whilst I bash a foot into the ground tilling up dirt and slowing myself down rapidly, and begin to spin around towards him, whilst lifting the other off the ground. As I faced towards him, I found he'd already got back on his feet, and had leaped off his feet and hands and kicked one foot into my wife/Goku's face and one into Piccolo's sending the two flying back, whilst off the ground he flew towards me and swing a fist. I weaved around him placing one hand on the ground and formed a blast in my hand slamming it into his gut as it exploded, he turned into a slowly vanishing afterimage, and delivered a devastating blow to my back sending me off into the sky rapidly. Flipping around midflight, and facing back down, I watched as Goku and Piccolo charged at him from two directions, and he simply jumped up out there way after me causing them to miss their strikes and look up at him racing at me. "Perhaps killing your husband will change your mind dear sister!" He growls out with intent to get his way and prove a point.
