The Scene opens up in Spain, and Recker is received a letter from his Squad, saying that Lutz was killed by an enemy Sniper when they were in Estonia, against Sangvis Troops. Recker slams his desk and is expressing anger, mixed with sadness. He later leaves, and they are told to get on Air Force One. Recker is left alone and sends a message to the Gang, still based on Sector 09. Recker is heard Narrating the message.
Recker: Team, I'm returning to work with all of you. I'll need someone to take his spot. Tyler's in the SEALs, and I'm letting him in. And I'm coming out of retirement again.
It cuts back to DC, and Recker is holding the resignation papers. And he puts down his secret service badge, and he places his P229 on the table, and after that, he leaves and returns to the Marines one month later.
