It's the morning after. The alarm goes off once again for work. Eddie turns it off and then rolls over to cuddle Buck, but he isn't there.

"Buck?" He shouts in confusion as he climbs out of bed, in nothing but his underwear

"Happy Birthday." Buck cheers as he serves the food onto the table and runs over to give Eddie a hug.

"Buck, thank you, but it's really not that big of a deal." Eddie saddens

Buck comforts Eddie as he places his soft hands on Eddie's face, running his thumb along his beard. "I know your parents never really celebrated your birthday, but you deserve to. You have done so much for me, and I'm celebrating you coming into this world and into my life. I love you, Eddie." He tears up as he gives him a kiss

"I love you too, Evan." Eddie slightly smiles back as they hold hands and walk over to the table

"So I've made us breakfast, then we will go work and then celebrate together later," Buck winks as he begins to snaffle his food

"Thank you, Buck. This means a lot. To know someone cares." Eddie begins to cry

"Of course I care, Eddie. I always have and always will care about you," Buck says as he makes his way around the table to comfort Eddie as he cries into his shoulder.

"How about we finish up, and then I've got a surprise for you?" Buck smiles as he goes back to eating

"Ok," Eddie sniffles as he wipes the tears away

They finish up eating, and Eddie washes the dishes. He turns around as Buck holds a box in his hand.

"I hope you like it." Buck excites a little as Eddie dries his hands with a tea towel and then proceeds to open the gift. He tears up at the sight of it.

"It's beautiful, thank you, baby." Eddie cries of happiness as he takes the watch from the box and puts it on. They look each other in the eyes, kiss, and then hug. They then get ready for work and set off.

They arrive at work. They get out of the car when Buck runs around to Eddie's side and covers his eyes from behind.

"Don't peek," Buck giggles as he carefully guides Eddie into the firehouse. He takes his hand away from his eyes.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" The firefighters of the 118 shout in excitement

"Awh, guys, you really didn't have to." Eddie tears up slightly but becomes overwhelmed

They give him a group hug, and then the bell goes off. They do their whole 12-hour shift and throw a little party for him with a cake Bobby made.

"Guys, you really didn't have to." Eddie sighs

"Well, it was Bucks' idea." Hen chuckles as she takes a slice of cake

"Was it now?" Eddie questions as he looks over at Buck, who's talking to Bobby.

"We've never really celebrated it before in the firehouse," Eddie says as he gets offered a slice of cake, yet turns it down

"I'm going to go talk to Buck now. Talk to you guys later," Eddie says as he walks towards Buck

Buck smiles at Eddie as he sees him approaching.

"Hey baby," Buck excitedly says as he gives him a hug and feeds him cake from his plate

"Hey, uhm, can I talk to you a minute." Eddie asks Buck as he smiles at Bobby

"Yeah," Buck replies nervously as he walks over to a corner with him

"Evan," Eddie sighs

"What's wrong?" Buck questions as his face slightly turns red at him being called Evan.
