5 - To The Tournament

It was the day of the tournament and Goten was nervous Bulma said she will pick his family up, but he's nervous about meeting his father

When Bulma landed her airship, Goten immediately sat next to Trunks, who looked angry, but he didn't know why

Bulma flew the ship towards the island that had the tournament in until Vegeta said something “Okay I think we should get the obvious thing out there no Super Saiyans” everyone was shocked except for Bulma who looked calm. Trunks, however, looked mad “What Why?” “People don't know what happened at Cell Trunks, it's better to let them believe a lie” Trunks looked even madder until he calmed down “Okay fine, besides I have something to say to Goten” Goten looked puzzled “What is it Trunks”

“You can't forfeit when you fight me” Vegeta looked shocked, “Forfeit! Goten you can't forfeit a fight you're a Saiyan it's in your blood to fight” Goten looked sad at this “But I don't want to fight Trunks, He's my best friend” everyone didn't know what to say to this “Goten if you don't forfeit when you fight me, I'll let you have 3 of my toys your choice” Now that was a good offer, especially since Trunks has dinosaur toys that look like Icarus.

“Fine is there any other rules” “Yes two more No Energy Blast and this one for Trunks No Pulling Goten's Tail” Trunks made a sound to that which made Goten laugh

For some reason, Vegeta always made sure Goten still had a tail, especially since Trunks didn't have one. Vegeta tried helping Goten move it with his mind, so he can wrap it around his waist, so it won't get in the way, but it was difficult for him to actually understand it, so usually Goten just doesn't think about it.

“I don't pull Goten's Tail” Goten made a face to said you totally do because anytime Trunks was about to lose he grabbed Goten's Tail causing him to freeze “Yes you do Trunks” Bulma sighed as she continued to drive the airship “Hey if we're not using Super Saiyans this means I at least have a chance” Krillin said as he fiddled his thumbs

“Hey Vegeta may I ask you something?” Chichi said to Vegeta who shrugged “Why doesn't Trunks have a Tail and will anything bad will happen if Goten's Tail gets pulled a lot” Chichi asked which Trunks perked up hearing that Question and did Goten “Trunks did have a tail when he was born according to Bulma, but she cut it without me knowing either way knowing Trunks he would have cut it off himself” Trunks did a small chuckle at that.

Vegeta looked at Bulma, but she did look a little sad, but it looked like she would have done it either way “As for the second question, no nothing bad will happen to Goten if you pull his tail a lot but in Saiyan terms it is disrespectful as only Family or Lovers are allowed to hold it” Trunks looked dumbfounded at that last part “So only Gohan and Mama can touch it” “Yes Goten”

Goten looked at Trunk and stuck his tongue out “Kids calm down, we are almost there” Vegeta said after looking back at his window again, making everyone shocked “Wow Vegeta you sure have changed” Chichi said as Gohan nodded. Trunks and Goten weren't sure what they meant, but they hope they meant something good

They were at the Island, and we'll according to Krillin had bad food for the audience, which sucks because Goten wanted some nachos until they reached the entrance where they all were waiting

“Hey Yamcha are you going to sign up for the tournament?” Bulma asked and Yamcha just laughed “Nope I retired from fighting besides I'll just be beaten by Krillin” Yamcha and Bulma laughed while Goten and Trunks were talking.

“I don't understand why you don't like fighting. According to my Dad, it's in our blood” “Maybe because Mom doesn't like fighting. I really only see it as exercise and besides, I'm almost as strong as you Trunks, so I'm fine” Trunks made a face that said Really? Which Goten found funny.

But now everyone stood at the entrance to the sign in just waiting “Perhaps he's not coming after all” Krillin said, until someone with the same hair as Goten appeared “Hey Guys miss me” everyone started crying except Trunks and Vegeta because Trunks looked unimpressed Vegeta was smiling Goten however was scared, so he hid behind his Mom

After a while, Goten heard something “Chichi I think I see a mini me behind your leg” Goten decided to look and saw the man that he assumed was his father. He looked exactly just liked Goten

Goku went closer as Goten spoke, “I'm Goten” Goku went to Goten eye level “And I'm Goku, and I'm your Daddy” Goten was finally meeting his father and he was just so happy he finally met him he couldn't contain himself “Daddy!” He jumped into his father's arms, pushing him back a bit “Wow you're a strong little guy” Goten just laughed “You want to be an airplane” “Yeah!” And like that, Goten father carried him into the air like he was a plane.

Goku then placed Goten down “Come on Goten let's go sign up for the tournament” “Yeah” everyone went to sign up but when Trunks went to sign up “Oh you here to sign up for the Junior Division” Trunks was offended but Goten didn't mind “Uhh thanks for the offer, but I'll sign up with the Grown Ups” it was wild bickering between the two before Trunks gave in and sign up with Goten to the Junior Division

“Oh Come on Trunks, it won't be that bad” Goten said as he was giving a quick stretch while almost touching Trunks with his tail, which made Trunks do a disgusted noise and step to the side

“It will be the adults are fighting and all the kids here won't put a challenge” Trunks was just grabbing on to his belt all cool like normal “I can put a challenge” Goten said, even moving his head to the side “Yeah, but I'm stronger” Goten sometimes thinks Trunks head is also in the clouds “Whatever you say Trunks” Goten said as he followed Trunks to the stadium rooms
