Unlike Solána who spent most of her Sunday crying, writing music, and stressing about her upcoming therapy consultation on Tuesday, Megan and Normani spent half of the day cuddled up in Normani's California king. The other half of the day flew by as they spent it cooking, watching Megan's favorite anime, and lounging around on Normani's balcony while they discussed any and everything under the sun.

Megan had enjoyed her quality time with Normani and didn't want to leave. It was to the point where she found herself begging her unofficial girlfriend to let her stay another night. She was pulling out all the stops: puppy dog eyes, pouting, and whining like a spoiled child.

"Pleeeasseee, baby? Just one more night. I really like spending time with you," Megan begged with pleading eyes as she peered up at her unofficial girlfriend. In their current position, Megan was straddling Normani's thighs and laying her head on the shorter woman's toned stomach.

An affectionate smile graced Normani's lips as she lovingly ran her hand through Megan's hair. She truly adored Megan with every fiber in her being. Which is why she was two seconds from conceding. The only obstacle to Megan getting her way was work: Normani had to clock in by 8:00 a.m. the next morning. Being that it was already 8:00 p.m., Normani would be going to bed relatively soon.

"I like spending time with you too, baby. I enjoy our time together, a lot, and I love how I can be myself around you..." Normani trailed off and stared at the boring white ceiling in thought. She would've never expected denying Megan to be this hard. It was as if the woman put a spell on her, a Voodoo of some sorts.

"Let me guess," Megan sat up straight, "there's a but?"

Normani mirrored her unofficial girlfriend's sitting position and gently bit her lip while she mindlessly caressed the other woman's thighs. Her eyes were trained on Megan's naval piercing in fear that if she looked directly in her eyes, she'd give herself away.

Megan grabbed Normani's jaw semi-roughly and lifted her head so that their eyes could meet, "First off, look at me when I'm speaking to you. Secondly, I asked you a question, so answer it."

As pathetic as it may sound, Normani was turned on by the rapper's roughness and the Southern twang that became more accentuated with each word that fell from her glossy lips. Well that, and the fact that Megan sported a bare face, a lace thong, and one of Normani's oversized University of Texas sweatshirts. Megan's casual look was undeniably sexy.

"Why are you being so snippy with me, baby?"

"Because I already know that you're not going to let me stay over," Megan rolled her eyes and released Normani's jaw from her grip.

"Damn. You know me so well," Normani chuckled in attempt to lighten the mood. She instantly shut her mouth when Megan shot her a death glare and crossed her arms over her chest.

"It's not funny, Normani. I'm trying my absolute hardest to not to jump to conclusions but you're making it very difficult for me."

Normani's eyebrows knitted together as she eyed Megan weirdly. "Huh? Jump to conclusions about what? I'm genuinely so confused right now."

Megan rolled her eyes again, but in a more exaggerated manner this time around. She huffed and loosely wrapped her arms around Normani's neck.

"I meant jump to conclusions about your constant rejection of me and how that relates to your true feelings. First, you didn't say 'I love you' back after I said it, which is fine because I now know where your head is at, but it still stung. The sting hits different for me because I've never said 'I love you' first to anyone I've been with in the past. And now, you're rejecting me again. There's only so much rejection a woman can take before she moves on."
