Chapter 18:

I'll change some stuff in KEVIN's life since it's a fanfic

After Kevin and Makima's contract. Makima gave her piece so that she'll be always be with him even dead. A piece of her power is given to Kevin so that he'll feel her and also protects Kevin from dangers. It's something that Makima freely give as they formed the contract. With that Makima cooked food, as Kevin then eats her food like a regular human but obeys her what she ask. She would request to perform certain task; fetching, handshake, and normal dog commands. As the day ends Kevin and Makima sleep with the dogs, all warm and comforting.

As the next day arrive, Makima prepared everything; walked the dog, clean the house and cooked for the two of them. Now all she need to do is wake up Kevin. Kevin was panicking on his sleep so he wake him up in her own embrace while both of them lied down

Kevin: Maki...

Makima: Shhh, It's alright... You'll be fine... Everything is ok now.

Kevin: Maki...

Kevin hug her back and she feel her warm embrace.

The couples got up as they fixed the bed before heading to the dining room.

As they began to eat, Kevin was quite as usual. Makima was curious

Makima: Kevin... Did something happen in your dream?

Kevin: Yes

Makima: Can you tell me all about it?

Kevin: ...

He hesitated it. He took a deep breathe and then tells her

Kevin: I killed everyone...

Kevin said as he fidget his legs to comfort himself

Makima: You won't be killing anyone, Kevin. Now let's eat up and get energize. We have training to do

Kevin look to Makima who had a full smile than the usual smile.

Both of them go out as Makima trained Kevin to how to Control his powers. He failed did it in succession. But only 3 form has to be controlled by his will. The War, End and Rage form. Kevin still tried it but get hurt in process. It just that he still can't control them... As it needs a certain requirements. The END's Consciousness for the End form, desperation for War and the Parasite for Rage. Kevin still continue until dawn. Makima was just there working while she watched Kevin do his best and also time time assisted him. As the sun was about the set. She appraoched Kevin

Makima: That's enough, we'll do it tomorrow

Kevin: I still can do it

Makima: Tomorrow is the best time to do that. I've given you an ability that you may not know

Kevin looked at Makima

Kevin: Can I use it?

Makima: Yes

Kevin: I'll... I'll practice it once I learn it. 

Kevin stood up 

Makima: I'll teach you tomorrow. Let's take a break for now. Would you like me to prepare you bath

Kevin: Yeah

Makima: Good

The rest was usual but Kevin still can't stop getting nightmares if Makima won't held him in her arms for long. As the next day arrives. Kevin followed Makima as they came back to their back yard, still the usual spot but she made sure that he stays on the shade.
