It was a warm spring day at the island of Sodor. You were working with Edward for many years and learned the ways of the railway. One day, you and Edward were unloading passengers when the station master talked to both of you.
Station master: Gordon is stuck on the hill and requires assistance.
You: we got this, sir.
Edward: here we go again
You and Edward chuffed to the hill and saw Gordon stuck on the hill as usual.
Gordon: oh the indignity....
You: don't worry, Gordon! We're here!
Gordon: hmph! About time too!
Edward pushed Gordon up on the hill while struggling.
Gordon: I can't do it! I can't do it!! I can't do it!!!
Edward: I will do it! I will do it!! I will do it!!!
At last Gordon raced down the hill!
Gordon: yes! Hurray! Now I can puff again!
Edward: Where's my "thank you"?
You: don't worry, Edward. I'm sure Gordon will say "thank you" next time you push him up the hill.
