"I can explain"

"I believe there is no need to explain when you were caught trying to run away from me" 

You let out a sigh, as the wizard looks down at the potion he is making.

"I'm just tired of being treated like that"

"Like what?"

"Like a prisoner,  Howl" you answer making him frown in displeasure.

Then a smirk appears on his face,  as he stirs the potion.

"It is better than being in the outside world where evil lurks"

"Why are you being like this? "

"Darling, I know I can sometimes be aloof, but I want you to know that I love you with all my heart"

His light blue eyes meet your eyes as those words escape his lips.

"That's not love"

"How do you know that? Have you ever experienced love?"

"No, but I can distinguish between love and obsessiveness" you state calmly.

Howl walks until he stops in front of you,  his body towering over yours.

"Are you truly not happy being here with me?"

"Yes"

Your answer makes Howl chuckle instead of getting angry by it.

"I want you to know that even if you do not love me, I will not force you to do so"

He places his hand on you,  intertwining his fingers with your dainty ones.

"However, I still expect complete devotion and loyalty from you, and I will not tolerate any kind of infidelity or betrayal"

You have never seen someone look loving and terrifying at the same time like Howl.

"I see no point in living if you are not by my side, darling"

The blond pulls you into his embrace and kisses your forehead.

But... You suddenly remember something very important.

The magical wand that helps you travel!

How could you forget about such an essential object?

However,  you haven't forgotten about it.

Rather,  you lost it.

Yet,  you have a clue who took it.

"Howl, where is my wand?" you inquire.

"With me" he replies pulling away from you.

"I need it right now"

You pretend that your breath is decreasing,  as you clutch at your unbuttoning your top.

"What for? "

"It is the only thing to heal me!" you act as if you were choking out the words.

Howl's eyes widen in worry, as he quickly pulls out your wand from his jacket and hands it to you.

"Take me to the world of Kiki's Delivery Service!"

He watches as you disappear, unable to do anything to stop you.

Upon realizing that he has been tricked,  Howl starts laughing hysterically.

"You are not as naive as I thought you would be after all, (Y/n)"

Dark eyes stare at you, as you stare back at the handsome boy who is wearing a large, amaranth-red bow on his head while holding a broomstick.

"Who are you? And what are you doing in my bedroom? "
