People hate me, it's the only exploration. Why else would they continuously wake me up from wonderful dreams involving Channing Tatum? We were just about to bang... In the shower! It's evil to even think of interrupting that dream! I consider anyone that wakes me up, the devil.
When I open my eyes, I see the devil himself, Cole Meyer. I groan and roll over so my face is in the pillow. You'd think by now he'd know never to do this unless the house is on fire, or Magic Mike is on TV.
"Diana, get your ass up! It's six PM!" Cole says.
Like I care...
While keeping my face in the pillow, I attempt to swat him away. Unfortunately, I'm basically blind, so I end up swatting his... Little friend. Hashtag awkotaco. "Your even sexual when half asleep." Cole teases. I'm so tired, I don't even blush. This. Is. A. Miracle. "I will literally grab a cup of water and dump it on you if you do not get up in the next ten seconds." He warns.
I groan and lean on my now propped elbows, lifting my head up. "Why do I need to get up?" I ask my voice sounding horse.
"I'm bored! Jake has been sleeping all day, Jack went to work, and your dad went to work and won't be home till later."
I glare at him through narrowed eyes. "You woke me up because you're bored?" I sneer.
He nods, acting all innocent. If he wasn't so hot, I'd hate him for sure. "Uh, yeah. Come on, entertain me!"
"How the hell am I supposed to entertain you?" I question, my voice still sounding hoarse from waking up.
He smirks and raises his eyebrows suggestively. "I have a few ways."
I hit his arm. "Perv,"
"Never denied it." Just as I was about to speak, my phone goes off.
I grab it off the side table, not bothering to look at the caller I.D. "Hello?" I answer.
"Is this Diana?" A familiar male voice asks.
"Um, who is this?" I ask warily. Cole raises an eyebrow in question. He mouths, 'who is it?' I just shrug.
"Trevor Meyer." I freeze. Oh shit.
"Can I help you?" I ask, annoyed.
"Where's my brother at, princess?" I roll my eyes at the nick name.
"I don't know," I lie. Cole asks again who it is and I say it's Trevor, silently. His eyes go wide.
"If you don't tell me where he is, I'll kill him tomorrow." He threatens.
I gulp. "Uh, hold on." I say then put him on mute. "He wants to know where you are, if I don't tell him, he'll kill you tomorrow." I say quickly, knowing Trevor won't want to be on hold longer than a minute.
Cole sighs. "Tell him I'm at the park,"
I nod and take Trevor off speaker. "He's at the park." I tell him.
"How do I know you aren't lying?"
"You don't. I've told you where he is, so goodbye." I hang up before he has a chance of replying. I see Cole start to get his jacket and I immediately dash for the door, blocking his way out. "Where the hell do you think you're going?"
"I have to go meet up with him." He says.
I shake my head. "No! No way am I letting you go there alone."
"Diana, there isn't much else I can do."
"At least let me come with you, I can drive." I offer.
