Chapter 20: My Father

Alisson pov

I continue to walk in the forest looking for the medical tents treating injured heroes, students and citizens. As I walk I spot someone sitting nearby, I walk closer to the person only to realize is Todoroki
Alisson: "Shoto?" I say looking at him, he snaps his head up and looks at me in surprised
Todoroki: "Alisson? You're alive..." He says quietly looking at me
Alisson: "Of course I am, an Aizawa doesn't accept death easily," I say with a small smile
He stands up and gives me a hug which I accept, he has a few tears in his eyes as he hugs me.
Todoroki: "We all thought you were dead... Aizawa Sensei didn't accept the fact that you were dead..." He says quietly before looking at me "You need to see him now" he says grabbing my arm and dragging me towards the medical tents.
I try to find out what is he doing just to stop in shock.
In front of us, Injured and some dead students and heroes lay there, medics trying to heal everyone that's injured.
I look at the sight in horror until I hear someone yelling my name

Denki: "ALISSON" He yelled running towards me and picking me up in a hug as he cries into my shoulder "I thought you were dead Ally..." He says looking at me.

I look at him in disbelief, he has a few scratches on his face and eyebags that aren't so visible.

Alisson: "I couldn't leave you guys, not yet at least. I will always be here love" I say before softly kissing his lips. I break the kiss soon after and look at him "Denki, weres my dads and brother?..." I ask him. He looks at me with a heartbreaking look.

Denki: "They are alive but... Aizawa sensei was injured badly" He says to me. Everything around me went silent... My father, the man who gave me a second chance in life was hurt.

Denki grabs my hand and leads me to a tent a little bit far from the civilians and to an area where there were only students and heroes.

He stopped in front of a tent where soon enough Shinso came out with dry tears on his cheeks just to freeze at the sight of me

Shinso: "Sis?..." he said quietly before looking at me and soon enough to hug me as he cried while hugging me "We all thought you were dead sis... I didn't want to believe it but there was no evidence of you being alive"

As he said that, tears started to leave my eyes as I hugged him back crying too. We stayed there hugging each other until dad came outside and looked at me in Shinso's arms crying. He immediately joined the hug as he all cried. After some seconds he looked at me

Mic: "You need to see your dad Ally" he said quietly ushering me inside to see him just for my breath to be stolen. There was my dad, awake with bandages on his arms and his right leg missing.

Aizawa: "Alisson..." he says quietly. I walk towards him and hug him while crying while repeating 'sorry' over and over again "Honey... Why are you apologizing?

Alisson: "I wasn't there to help you dad... You hurt and I wasn't there..." I said still crying. He gently holds my hand and makes me look at him

Aizawa: "Semper memetipsum offero pro mea familia, praesertim pro haedos meos" he says to me "I always sacrifice myself for my family, especially for my kids, that's what it means. Alisson, it isn't your fault" He says before hugging me again

I rest my head on his chest with my eyes closed but still crying.

I will make them pay dad
