Chapter three (Westfield)

Yesterday was a long night, so much happened at the ball. I was stressed.

but the first thing i did when i woke up was to get in the computer and find some information that would be helpful, but something that i wasn't sure is that they didn't give me much information of joe Crane, i just had information that he was burned and the place they found him, i needed more,
Was there any signs that he was attacked or poisoned or something? How did he get there and why did they kill him?.

I looked at my phone to see the time, it was almost 7,  I spent all day looking for answers.

I heard someone  knock at the door, it was jackson. Just about a few hours ago I called him and asked if he could go with me to Westfield park.

"Its opened" i yelled

"Are you ready?" asked jackson 

"yeah let's go" i said while grabbing my jacket, we headed down stairs, and got into jacksons car.

We drove to Westfield park, which was 25 minutes away from the city. As soon as we got there I got out of the car, it was empty, there was nothing but trees and old building materials, I looked at my phone and it was 7:27 pm.

"Just in time, do you want me to go with you?" said Jackson while closing the car door.
"No it's okay, stay here, keep an eye out" I said while heading towards the building.

I walked towards the door and into the building the only light was the light of the moon, I saw some stairs leading to the rooftop, I went up and there was no one there,

I looked up and saw the bright stars and the wind was brushing my face. It was a little cold but it felt nice.
Then I heard someone coming towards me, I turned around and saw a black figure.

as he walked towards me i could see it was batman, he was wearing that suit and the only thing you could see was his dark blue eyes and his mouth.

"i have some information" says batman with a husky voice

"What do you know about the senator?" i asked

"the disappearance of the senator is connected to joe Crane"  applied Batman

"how?" i asked confused

" he calls himself Vladimir, he works with Crane, he kidnaped the senator" said batman 

"How do you know that?" i asked quickly

"The night at the party i saw some strange behavement with the guards i heard them talking about someone they called vladimir one of them said "he's here", then the light when out, i went  towards the men that had guns, i looked over to the stairs and saw a man wearing a mask it looked like a scarecrow, i recognized his voice , it was Crane , he was with someone else, i heard Crane called him vladimir"  said batman

"Wait Joe Crane is...." i got interrupted by someone calling my name

"Elizabeth"  yelled Jackson as I turned over to see him coming up the stairs.
I turned back to where Batman was, but he was gone.

"Did you talk to him?" asked jackson curiously

"Yeah, let's go," I said with a serious face.

i just couldn't stop thinking about what batman said, it didn't make sense, is Joe Crane alive? how?, they said they did the dna test, they confirmed that it was him.

It was 8:30 and Jackson had just dropped me off at my apartment. I was so confused by what Batman told me it just didn't have any explanation. 
I took one more look at the files that Jackson gave me a few days back, hoping it will give me more answers.
I didn't find anything.

I put on my pajamas, got a glass of wine and went into the balcony. It was chilly outside but it was nice, you could see the car lights and the buildings. It was nice.
But I just couldn't take my mind off what Batman said.

I mean Batman recognized his voice, how? maybe he thought it was him, it couldn't be, he's dead.
