I opened a closet in my quarters, revealing some sort of formal dress and a staff beside it. After Lord Evan and his ships left, I have been practicing my magic under the tutelage of Princess Guinevere of Bern so that I can use offensive magic like him. I was in my thoughts when princess Guinevere dashed into my quarters

Guinevere: Princess Elincia! we must go now!

Guinevere snapped me out of my thoughts

Elincia: Alright. I'll be there

Observer Alpha: humans of Earth listen well. How dare you have an anti siren exercise? Resisting us is futile!

Observer Alpha broadcasted her message as the sirens interrupted the naval exercise. Back at headquarters, the Chief of Naval Staff of Azur Lane heard the message and stood up

Chief of Naval Staff of Azur Lane: Azur Lane is now in a state of emergency!!

I exclaimed as I launched several seahawks from the USS Nimitz towards Royston's siren modified Najin class frigate

I continued participating in the naval exercise, including stopping a siren takeover until it was time for it to end. Right now, me and the other members of Task Force Zero Fire were sailing away from Hawaii back to our respective bases

Jabir: the exercise is over

Jabir remarked as we sailed away from Hawaii

Mashkur: it was fun one too

Kenneth: All good things must come to an end

After Jabir and Mashkur broke away from us to go back to their bases, Admiral Kenneth and I continued sailing back to our respective bases until it was time for me to break off as well

Kenneth: Remember the condition you made to me Fleet Admiral Evan Siegfried

Evan: Yes sir

I replied before breaking off from Admiral Kenneth

Veneto: are you sure you're okay with this?

Veneto asked me after she came into the bridge while we were on our way back to our base. I then thought back at the condition me and Veneto made to Admiral Kenneth back at Hawaii

Kenneth: Alright but one condition. take me along with you

Evan: What?

Kenneth: You heard me. take me along with you

I pondered over for a moment before saying my answer

Evan: as you wish sir

*flashback end

Evan: Yes. I can't cover the truth forever. the others will find out eventually

Veneto: I understand, Evan

Veneto looked at me for a moment and replied as we passed by Midway Island

Evan: a short chapter for now as I have a bit of writer's block. Also Toripter and Jetra from Engine Sentai Go-onger might make an appearance again in the future, not just in this book, all my books
