Have you ever had such an amazing dream that felt so real that you were disappointed to wake up from it?

Well, that was certainly what Chan felt when at 9am the grandfather clock started ringing loudly. The loud sound startled the sleeping boy and he snapped his eyes open while gasping and rolling over. He didn't realize where he was laying and he landed on the ground hard. He groaned at the impact and looked around. He was in their living room.

It was all just a dream.

He sat up, massaging his back with his hand, trying to progress what happened. He fell asleep on the couch last night and someone, most likely Jeonghan, put a blanket on him. He was once again wearing his pajamas, but there were no signs of him wearing them outside for two days straight. His clothes were just as clean as he wore them last night, except for being a bit wrinkled. His neck hurt as hell because of the inhuman position he slept in. Then he remembered his dream.

He smiled a bit as memories from Parthenia flooded his head. About the kids, Mingyu and Wonwoo, about Jun and Minghao... and most importantly, about Soonyoung. He frowned to himself. It all felt so real. He couldn't believe he fell for the nutcracker prince in his dream. But how handsome and kind that prince was! His imagination surely did a good job.

He widened his eyes as he remembered the nutcracker. He had it with him when he fell asleep. He hoped he didn't end up laying on it and smashing it. He looked back towards the couch, but he couldn't see it. He lifted his pillow and checked under it, then shook the blanket. The nutcracker was nowhere to be seen. Maybe Jeonghan put it away when he covered him with the blanket? Or was it Felix who stole it to play with it? He stood up and stretched his back. He can worry about it later. Grandpa is going to kill him if he is not ready in time for breakfast.

'Chan! Hurry up! Breakfast is almost ready!' Speaking of the devil, Grandpa threw the door open and marched inside the living room. His appearance was already immaculate. Chan seriously wondered whether their old man needs sleep at all.

'Grandpa, haven't you seen my nutcracker?' he asked. Grandpa just gave him a weird look.

'I don't think so' he said while opening the curtains. Chan happily realized that it was snowing. He made a mental note to himself to take his brother for a walk later. They can build a snowman and play snowball fight.

'I had the craziest dream, Grandpa!' he exclaimed. Grandpa hummed. 'My nutcracker came to life! And then the mouse army came to the room because they were looking for the nutcracker prince! Their king cursed me and I became this tiny!' he gestured with his hands. 'And we went to Parthenia, there were snow fairies and flower fairies and-'

'Jeonghaaan!' sighed Grandpa. 'What did you tell this kid before bed again? He is having weird dreams!'

'But it felt so real!' frowned Chan. 'And now I can't find my nutcracker!'

At the same time his younger brother, Felix stormed inside the room. Chan caught the kid's arm.

'Felix, if you want to borrow my nutcracker, you should ask first! Give it back!' he commanded.

'I didn't take it! Why would I?' pouted Felix while hugging his own soldier dolls to his body. Chan let go of his arm and sighed.

His eyes suddenly landed on the snowglobe that was on the desk. He lifted it up carefully. His heartbeat quickened. He knew the landscape in the globe. And he also knew the dancing couple.

They looked exactly like him and-

'Everyone!!' Jeonghan's cheerful voice was heard from outside the room. Chan sighed in relief. Jeonghan is going to understand his life crisis about his doll. He rushed towards the door just when Jeonghan entered with someone.
