weeks have passed since school started after winter break. during those weeks, two individuals began getting closer with each other.

there would be times where sunwoo would hangout with sunjin's little friend group during lunch or the two would sneak off somewhere. her absence slowly grew common where the boys would usually see her only during classes or after school.

even after school, sunwoo would be tagged along with her like a little puppy. sunjin began bringing sunwoo to their after school hangouts.

it didn't annoy the boys at first, they saw how happy she looked. it grew annoying when they began flirting though. in front of them. no one wanted to see that.

then she slowly began disappearing after school. simply texting their groupchat 'can't make it, busy!' which confused the boys since she was never busy, even during volleyball practices.

the older boys asked the younger ones where she would go since they had their last class with her. but even they couldn't answer because they haven't seen her in the class or she would be with sunwoo the whole time.

the boys grew worried until they finally saw her outside of school.

sunjin wasn't alone though. she had sunwoo next to her. the bazar part of it all was they were holding hands. both were smiling really hard while walking into a cafe.

were they on a date? since when were they even dating?

confused was all they felt.

"no way that's her" sunoo gasped. his eyes were wide open just as his mouth had dropped to the floor.

"that's definitely her, she's the only one in the grade level who wears green ribbons in her hair" jungwon bitterly answered. he felt jealously when he saw them holding hands wishing it were him instead.

he knew his best friend loved green and purple and chose ribbons of those colors to wear in her hair. she wouldn't wear them everyday, usually on special occasions or when sunjin thought it was a special day.

clearly today is a special day.

"wait- has she been hiding her relationship with sunwoo? why? we're her friends?" niki sulked staring cross the street looking at the cafe. he was confused why she began to stop hanging out with them. is this why?

"i don't know niki" heeseung sighed. he wrapped his arm around the pouty niki pulling him in close. "we can ask her tomorrow.. or whenever we see her" he said hesitatingly but still smiled.

"come on, let's go eat" jay began walking ahead of them.

"can we get steak?"

"no no let's get ramen!"

"no jake, we already had ramen so steak"

"well sunghoon, i.don't.care! so let's get ramen"

the bickering was endless between those two. the rest of the group following jay.

"this place is nice!" sunjin beamed at the boy across from her.

"i know! one of my friends took his girlfriend here and told me about it! i just had to bring you!" sunwoo excitedly said back.

the two were seated in a little corner of the small place. the atmosphere was cozy with fairy lights hanging from the ceiling as well with plants. the color of the cafe was a soft cream color. the chairs were comfy orange chairs, others were brown matching the vibe of the place. it was amazing.

"order for sunwoo!"

sunwoo stood up to the counter, getting their food before
sitting back down with the tray.

sunjin didn't stop the drool with how delicious the food looked. she ordered a matcha cake along with a brown sugar bubble tea.

she couldn't help but take a picture of their food. she'll post it later.

"thank you sunwoo for bringing me here!" sunjin smiled. the boy smiled back, feeling a small blush creep in.

luckily the girl was distracted by the cake to notice. sunjin couldn't help but bounce her legs in excitement. the first bite tasted even better. sunjin loved anything matcha.
