Summary: After the defeat of the Soviet Union in the Second World War, after Nikolai Bukharin signed a truce with Germany, he was overthrow by Joseph Stalin that was waiting Bukharin's downfall and take over the USSR. He swear to the rest of Soviet Union that he will fix anything that Bukharin done and directly implement industrialization plans to fight back against Germany in the future.
Thanks to Stalin, the Soviet Union was not dissolved into small regions led by warlords, and the Soviet Union declared its neutrality during the Cold War began. Stalin's Industrialization Plan had a positive impact which made the Soviet Union better.
But in 1953, USSR declare war to Greater German Reich, beginning the West Russian War and attempt to retake Moscow and West Russian region, but it's was ended up failure, the Soviet Union forces must withdraw and Stalin leave the war without say anything
Stalin government was considered too dictatorial, many people around Stalin felt worry that Stalin's rule is too strict and make people of the USSR felt uncomfortable.
One of these people was Vasily Stalin who was the son of Joseph Stalin, he felt that his father's government was too harsh and dictatorial, then he got rid of alcohol addiction and began to study politics with people he could trust. And that's where Vasily tried to make the Soviet Union a more democratic country and establish relations with the United States
And it happened when his father died on July 23, 1955. He took power and declared that the Soviet Union would use the doctrine of democracy to restore the Soviet Union from the military rule to civilian rule and declare himself as the President of USSR, the title of General Secretary of the Communist Party is replacing the Premier of Soviet Union title and works as the Head of Government.
That gave the situation in the Soviet Union getting better and the economy and income of the Soviet Union continued to increase every month. Now Vasily can focus on fixing USSR economy and planning to retake West Russian region.
