Chapter 3

The Da Silva Residence

Bose's Pov

Chapa's Dad:"No."

My heart shatters.

Bose:"What?"

Chapa's Pov

My heart shatters.

Chapa:"What?"

Chapa's Dad:"I said no!"

Dad grabs me and brings me close to him. He glares at Bose.

Chapa's Dad:"No daughter of mine is going out with a thief!"

Bose:"I also don't wash my hands."

Chapa's Dad:"You don't wash your hands?"

Dang it Bose!

I mouth a 'You're not helping to him!'

Bose:"But, sir, me stealing your daughter's phone, it was an accident! Let me explain, listen, I--"

Chapa's dad holds a hand up.

Chapa's Dad:"I don't wanna hear it. Good day."

Bose:"But sir--"

Chapa's Dad:"I SAID GOOD DAY!"

My dad slams the door in Bose's face. My eyes well up with tears and I run upstairs to my room, close the door to it, plop face-down on the bed, and burst into tears! :(

Bose's Pov

I sigh and walk home.

O'Brian Residence

In Bose's Room

I am pacing back and forth.

Bose:"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?"

I get an idea and snap my fingers.

Bose:"I've got an idea. I'll tell Chapa how I feel, and when Chapa's dad knows how much I care about her, then I can go out with her!"

But then my face falls as I realize something. 

Bose:"Ah! I can't tell Chapa how I feel! Everytime I'm close to her, my thoughts are vapor and my limbs are jell-o! Argh, but I've gotta tell her or else I won't go out with her! Ah, what do I do?"

Then my question in answered as I spot my acoustic guitar propped up against my bed and some pencils and paper on my desk. I get a determined look on my face. 

Bose:"I'll write her a song. That's what I'm gonna do!"

I sit at my desk and get to work.

The next day

The Da Silva Residence

I have my guitar with me. It has a guitar strap. I knock on Chapa's front door. 

Chapa opens it.

Our faces light up when we see each other.

Chapa:(Happy)"Hi Bose!"

Bose:"Hi.(Pokes head in)Is your dad here?"

Chapa:"No, come on in!" Chapa gestures for me to come in. 

I come inside.

Chapa closes the door.

Chapa:"So, Bose, what's with the guitar?"

Bose:"Uh, that's actually what I'm here for."

I gesture for her to sit down on the couch and she does.

Bose:(Blushing)"I wrote this song for you."

Chapa blushes while smiling.

Chapa:(Blushing)"Bose..."
