Bees, and butterflies dancing all around us,
Taking breaks to smell the flowers all in bloom.
You hold my hand, and guide me along,
The stone path, half covered in moss, and weeds.
I gaze up at the sky, still gripping your hand tight.
Cotton candy heavens surround white puffy clouds,
The loons song echoing off the great blue lake.
The sunset sitting on the water, looking back at us.
Water now lays still, except for just below the dock,
Where we sit, and rest our legs swinging just off the edge.
I dip my toes, splashing along the surface.
I wrap my arms around you tightly, while you kiss my forehead.
You're my calm water, and I'm your ripples, and waves.
Through all the seasons we've found our way.
Nearly six years now, we still say "I love you" everyday.
Through high and low tides, our love remains.
You bring me sweetness like the honey in my tea,
and the strength of that bitter pekoe caffeine.
You make the sunshine brighter, and rainy days picturesque.
Fill my heart, and soul full, only with the best.
I look forward to all my days with you.
We've had so many adventure's on our path,
Some I never dreamed we have.
