I walked up to the stairs leading to the C house's door.

I pulled open the front door.

Two girls were sleeping in the Living Room.

I walked throughout the house.

I found the third door on the right.

It was the only one with a deadbolt.

I unlocked the door.

I pushed it open.

Jenna stood up off the bed.

She slung a bag over her shoulder.

Jenna motioned for me to go.

She shut that door behind us.

Jenna locked the front door behind us.

We walked down the ramp together.

We were walking side-by-side.

"Hey!" Adam called when he saw us.

She grabbed my hand.

Jenna was running from him.

Adam followed us.

Jenna gasped when Joaquin appeared in front of her.

"Joaquin!" I called his name.

They hugged.

"Run!"

"Okay, come on."

Jenna was in the front.

I was in the middle.

Joaquin was in the back.

"Stop!" It was Adam.

We continued running.

"I said stop!" He yelled.

Silas

I walked outside.

Adam had the gun aimed at the girls.

"No! No!"

He fired the bullet.

Joaquin

We were trying to outrun the bullet.

Mariana gasped as she got hit with the bullet.

Evan

I stared at Mariana.

She had got shot with the bullet.

Joaquin

Mariana collapsed on the ground.

"Mariana!"

Evan ran over to join us.

"Oh, my God!" Jenna commented.

"Oh, shit." He commented.

"Oh, my God!"

"Alright."

Evan

"You're-- You're okay. You're okay."

Silas

"What did you do?" I questioned Adam.

"Damn it!" I commented.

Evan

Mariana looked down at the blood on her hand from touching the bullet wound.

"Here-- Here."

Joaquin slid his jacket off.

"Put pressure on it with this."

"Okay."

I put his jacket over the bullet wound.

"What happened? Is someone hurt?" It was the guy.

"Get away from us, man!" Joaquin ordered.

"I told him not to shoot!"

"Go before I beat the shit out of you!" He threatened.

The shooter ran off.

The other guy ran off.

"Jenna. Jenna, go get my truck." Joaquin ordered.

"Where?"

"It's over there behind the trees."

He gave her the keys.

"Okay."

"Hurry."

Jenna ran off.

Mariana tried to talk.

"No, no. No, no. Don't-- Don't try to speak." I told her.

"We need to call an ambulance!" I pointed out.

"We don't have time for an ambulance to get out here." Joaquin pointed out.

"You're gonna be okay. We're gonna get some help. We're gonna take you to the hospital. You're gonna be fine."

"Alright. We-- We gotta get her in the truck. Here, here. Grab her legs."

"Okay."

I grabbed her legs.

"Alright. Up, up. Here we go."

We lifted Mariana up off the ground.

"Get under-- Get under her. Careful. Careful."

"Alright."

We hurried over to the truck.

"Here we go. Alright. Alright."

We put her in the back.

Mariana groaned as she laid out across the backseat.

I had her on me.

"Find the closest emergency room." Joaquin ordered Jenna.

She groaned as he hit a bump hard.

"Slow down. She can't take it."

"Keep pressure on it."

Mariana gasped.

"Just hang on, Mariana. Please. Please. Just don't go to sleep, okay?"

Jenna looked in the back at her.

"Don't go to sleep."

Mariana had passed out.

We had got her to a hospital.

We followed the Doctor who had Mariana on a gurney.

"BP 84 over 47." A male nurse informed.

"Is she gonna be okay?" I questioned.

"She's lost a lot of blood. We'll do everything we can."
