It was finally Friday you made it through your first week of officially being a teacher at UA. You were enjoying your lunch in the teacher's break room while your students had lunch with Nezu in the minor part of the cafeteria.
You were thinking about last night with Shota and Eri. You couldn't help the feeling that it was just natural having them at your home and even eating dinner with them. It felt right
"Hey, young y/n, how are you?"
A deep voice snapped you out of your thoughts. Turning to face the only person that called you by that silly nickname was no other than
"Toshi!" You jumped up and rushed over to Toshinori Yagi, aka All Might. You gave him a big hug.
"Hey, their kid, how have you been?"
Toshi patted your back as he hugged you.
"I've been good! I'm glad to see you, I meant to visit you earlier this week, but I heard you were with class 2-a doing some training, " You say
"No worries, I'm happy to see you too. Mind if I join you for lunch?"
"Of course!." You pulled out a chair for Toshi. He was like an uncle to you. He was good friends with your grandfather before he passed. Even after the funeral, Toshi kept in contact with you like you were his family.
"How have you been? I know it's been five years since the funeral."
"I've had better days. I took some time off once I graduated college. I needed to heal and ensure I was going in the right direction." You say sadly.
Your grandfather passed away during your last year of college. He was the only family you had left besides toshi. It just hits you harder once you graduate. You question your life and what you were doing.
"I'm glad you continue to keep going. I know you're making a difference in people's lives with your talents. I know Nezu appreciates you taking on this job," he says with a big smile
"Thanks, Toshi." Your mind began to wonder back to Shota.. if you're making a difference in his life .. hopefully for the best
"Is there something on your mind, kid?"
You chuckled. "I'm not a kid anymore, Tosh, but yeah.. just don't freak out when I tell you."
Toshi's face went from a playful one to a much more serious one.
"What's going on?" He asked sternly
"Well... I might be going on a date .. with the Erasehead." you looked away sheepishly
"Oh, that! I thought it was something crazy. I already knew that" Toshi shook with laughter
"What do you mean you knew?" you raise an eyebrow at Toshi
"Oops.. well, I might as well tell you... I kind of already knew that you and Aizawa were a thing..."
"He told you?"
He seems to be a private person, you thought
"Oh, he is.. umm..geez, kid, I can't hide anything from you toshi chuckled
"Nemuri, Hiz, and I are rooting for you guys, and we've been keeping a close eye on your relationship with Aizawa. But we're not trying to get involved or anything" Toshi nervously rubs the back of his neck
"Oh, and Nezu is in on it too, but that's beside the point."
"Figures." Letting out a sigh, you lean back in your chair.
"Well, if you must know, I am giving him a chance tonight. I appreciate your support Toshi... You think he's the one for me?" You ask
"That's for you to figure out, but I would say your grandfather would approve of him too." giving you his signature smile
"Now that everyone is on board, we must pick out your outfit!" Nemuri cheers
