I didn't remember falling asleep, but by the time I returned to my senses, the room was darker and the rest of the girls were sleeping. I looked around for Star, thinking maybe she'd returned while I was asleep, but she was nowhere to be found. I slumped into a corner, dejected. I felt my hands shaking, so I pulled my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. My eyes started to feel heavy again. No matter how I fought it, I knew I was bound to pass out again. I let the darkness envelope me, and I sank into a deep fitful sleep.
