Throughout the dinner, I saw Tom helping Avery to cut her meat here and there. It was cute watching them together. They really look like siblings
"And Tom, do you have any plans after school?" Henry asked
Tom swallowed "I'm kind of into cars but I don't think I'd like to do that for the rest of my life. I also always liked acting tho" I chuckled making him look at me. I put the smile down and pursed my lips. He smiled at it
"You would look great as an actor" Mike admitted
"Thanks, buddy" Tom grinned "And what about you Sky? What do you want to do?" He looked at me
"Oh, um I don't know-"
"She always loved painting and animals," my foster mother said
"Mom!" I hissed and looked at Tom. He was chuckling about all of this
"I never imagined you being a painter" I looked down ashamed "Not like it's bad of course I just didn't know you'd be like that"
"Like what?" I furrowed my brows
"Like an artist. Painting it's a really beautiful hobby like singing or dancing" his words made me smile
"Or acting"
"Yeah," I saw little red spots on his face. Is he blushing?
"I want to be an astronaut!" Tom's sister suddenly shouted making us all laugh
"Of course. And you'll be the best astronaut in galaxy" Tom ruffled her hair looking like a proud parent

"Thanks again for letting us eat dinner with you" Tom said when he was putting on Avery's hoodie. She looked very tired, not to blame it'll be nine in few minutes
"Pleasure is on us. It was good to get to know some of Sky's classmates" Lisa looked at me standing behind them
Tom nodded and said goodbye "See you tomorrow Sky" he waved at me before disappearing into the dark holding his sister by her hand
"I miss her already" Mike from behind us frowned as soon as Henry closed the door
Not surprised. Avery is such a sweet girl I hope the two will be good friends for a long long time
I patted his shoulder before skipping up the stairs. I still have to pack my backpack before we leave tomorrow morning
Just when I walked into my room and closed the door, I saw my phone ringing on the bed. I picked it up when I saw an unknown number
"Skylar Lockwood, may I help you?" I said curiously and sat on my bed about to take my shoes off
"Sky? Hey it's Archer" I could recognize his deep voice everywhere
"Hey, everything alright?" I asked. He's never called me before I didn't even know he has my number
"Yeah everything's good but I needed to ask you if you'd mind if Grace would ride with me tomorrow. You know she wanted to ride with me but also with you. She couldn't decide and I want to be with her every second I get" I chuckled at his desperate voice
"No worries, who I'll be riding with then?" I knew Arch and Grace will be in Ray's car which means I'll be in a car with Nick and Tom
"Oh wait Arch maybe it's not a good-"
