"and here" I handed Jenna a little piece of paper "this is Mike's mom's number if Avery says she wants to see him you just call this number. Her name is Lisa"
"She has you wrapped around her finger" Jenna shook her head with a laugh.
She does
"Anyway. Don't give sissy any kiwis or strawberries, she's allergic. If she crawls something sweet give her chocolate but not white, the original one, she hates white chocolate"
"Tom calm down, I got this. She's not the first kid I'm taking care of"
"Fine, just protect her okay?" I sighed and rubbed my forehead.
This is the first time I'll be without my sister for so long ever since Mom died
"Don't worry" she tried to hug me but I took a step back and looked away
Is it weird I hadn't hugged anyone besides my sister for over two years? Not because I'm uncomfortable when being close to people. I just don't like being close to someone who I'm not close with and even tho Jenna is my mom's sister, I don't like her much. I trust her but that's all
"Have fun" She cleared her throat and looked at Avery that was standing a few meters away from us, waiting
I nodded and turned to hug my sister
"Be good alright? And you know how to call me" I said as soon as I let her go from my arms
"I know Tommy. I'm gonna miss you" She kissed my cheek. I blink out the tears from how grown up she already is
"I'm gonna miss you more" I kissed her head before handing her to Jenna
Avery send me a flying kiss when I got into the car and started the engine
I pretended to catch it and put it into my heart before taking off to pick Nicolas up.
He didn't say anything when he got into the car next to me but I had something to say
"This is not your seat" I growled without looking at him
He let out a chuckle "I don't care"
"Get out before I make you" I looked him in the eye
Nick growled before getting out of the car and sitting in the back
Another ten minutes were in silence. The only thing talking was the radio in the background
"You still mad?" He suddenly said
I looked at him through the review mirror before looking at the road again
"You're such a pussy" Nick snored
"You treat girls like shit and I am the bad one?" I growled
"I treat girls like they deserve to be treated" I gripped the steering wheel at his answer
He should find out how it is like to be treated like shit
Before I knew it, I stopped in front of Sky's house.
I texted her we're here and a few seconds later, she already opened her main door with her family short behind her
She hugged them before making her way toward my car with Henry in the tail. I got out of the car and took the suitcase from his hands
"Good morning sir" he nodded
"you didn't have to help me" Henry insisted
"This car is my love. Don't want you to hurt her" I joked, putting the suitcase into the car trunk. I reached my hand for Sky's backpack but she kept it in her hands and shook her head
