You live with your parents but you are planning on moving in with Colby in his apartment.

I walked in the house after working. I saw my parents and they had already had drinks. My mom was holding a knife and my dad was holding a beer bottle. My mom came up to me and said "you worthless slut." She cut my arm pretty bad and my dad hit my side a couple of times. I was able to make it to my car. I made it to Colby's apartment and saw Sam standing at the door knocking. Colby opened the door and he first saw me. He came running up to me saying "baby what the hell happened."
I said "my parents,they hit and my mom cut my arms." He told Sam "we have to get her to the emergency room right now." We got to the emergency room and they wrapped my arm up and I was able to leave. I was finally able to move into Colby apartment.
