(nightmare sun and moon x insomniac adult y/n AU)
it has been days that these so called nightmares have been tormenting your little sister so you decide to stay with her for the night to give her the comfort of safety since she was your favorite and you were quite curious on what these nightmares look like, what you know about them so far is that they look like a sun and moon and you know that because your sister told you that's how they looked like
As you make your way to your sister's room with a flash light and some snacks and some melatonin gummies for your sister to sleep with ease, once you get to her door you knock "☆hey s/n I'm here☆" you say before entering you see s/n relived that your here as you walk up to her you had her some gummies "☆here this should help you sleep☆ thank you ☆don't mention it sis now go to sleep I'll deal with them☆" as your sister goes to sleep you stay there until the clock hit 12 then you knew it's time to play
As 3 hours pass, you almost gave up until you hear a noise. You grab the flash light and look around, and for a split second, you see a blue hat with stars on it, and it looks ripped "☆that must be the moon☆" you said to yourself, soon something that looked like a sun was walking towards you, you shine the light at it but it doesn't stop it as it continues to get closer you hear it say "☀why don't you play with me...☀" so you felt bad
You walked up to it, and as you did, it froze like, if it wasn't expecting that as you stepped closer, it would just stand there looking at you, once you got close enough you gave it one of the snacks you had on you, and it gladly took it out of curiosity as it was distracted you had a feeling that the other was behind you so you shine the flashlight behind and hit it right in the eyes with the light "oww what the actual fuck kid" you turn around and see the creature, you turn off your flashlight and go up to it as you go around in circles observing its features "stop that kid your making me dizzy" you stop and you look back at the sun "☀your not afraid of us...?☀ ☆nope i actually find you guys fascinating and i'm not a kid☆ fascinating..? ☆mhm!☆" they both look at each other for a bit then ask you "why aren't you asleep? ☆i have insomnia i can't sleep unsleep i get knocked out, really tired out, or i have been given melatonin gummies which don't really do anything☆"
they look at you for a bit then the sun one whispers something to the moon one "my name is moondrop and this is my friend sundrop and we were wondering since you can't sleep can we stay in your room in return we do not torment your little sister anymore how does that sound? ☆sure i don't mind as long as my sister can get sleep i'm good☆ then a deal it is" after that little encounter they have been in your room and you guys would play and mess around and became the best of friends
