"Dad, don't worry about me." I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck as kissed his cheek quickly "I'm only going for a weekend." I joked and he groaned loudly

"Why did I ever agree to this?"

You see, Luke asked me days ago to go with him to his grandfather's beach house for the weekend with him, he said that we needed some time alone after everything that's happened, and I think he's right. A weekend alone was exactly what we needed. Convincing my dad to let me go was a whole other story! I begged for about two days until he fianlly agreed, saying that he was choosing to trust me. Imagine that.

"But I'm staying true to my word," he said as he raised his finger at me and looked at me seriosuly "I will send you to the hospital to check if you're still a virgin." he stated and I laughed quietly, smiling at him before kissing his cheek again

"Anything, as long as you let me go, Daddy." I said as I looked back at my mom who was shaking her head at my dad with a smile, he cracked a small smile and stroked my hair

"Let her go, David." my mom urged with a small smile as she stroked my hair as well "Let's not keep him waiting." she said as she nudged her head towards the door, where you could see Luke waiting patiently by my car

"Thank you Mom, Dad!" I said as I kissed both their cheeks once last time before grabbing my bag since my things were already in the car "I love you!" I said before closing the door behind me and running towards Luke, wrapping my arms around his neck, kissing him softly

"Ready, Angel?" he asked as he looked down at me with a smile

"I was born ready."

"What do you want to do first?" he asked as he pulled into the beach house, I looked around with an excietd smile. It was huge, and beautiful!

"Can't we just go to the beach and relax?" I breathed with a smile as he entwined our hands together, I looked down with a smile

"As you wish, Angel." he said with a smile as he brought our entwined our hands up to his mouth, pressing a soft kiss onto my hand; he opened the door for me and then started carrying both his bag and mine inside as I walked behind him, taking in the beautiful beach house. It was very bright inside, since it had tons of windows and was all white.

"I'll go get changed." I said as I grabbed my bag and walked into the master bedroom and then to the bathroom to change. I had brought about four pairs of bikinis since we were only going to stay here for two more days since we had arrived here at night. When I was dressed, I walked outside and saw that he was building a fire; I looked up at the sky and sighed in delight due to the beautiful view from the sea and the moon shining down on us, I crept behind him, wrapping my arms around his neck with a smile as I kissed his neck softly, he jumped slightly but then chuckled "Did I scare you?" I chuckled as I walked over to the other side to face him

"You? Scare me? Never." he joked as he winked at me before bringing his lips to mine and wrapping his arms around my waist as we sat in the sand

"This is so beautiful." I whispered as I rested my forehead against his with a smile and sat in between his legs as he wrapped his arms around my waist, entwining our fingers as well "And so perfect."

"You're perfect." he whispered into my ear, causing me to blush madly as he traced kisses along my neck

"Well, aren't you a smooth talker." I joked and I heard him chuckle from behind me

"It's my specialty." he whispered and I smiled softly "What's on your mind, Angel?" he asked and I sighed deeply

"I got a letter from NYU today." I breathed as I fiddled with my fingers absentmindedly

"What did it say?" he asked and I shrugged

"I didn't read it." I whispered "I wanted to wait until I got back; I didn't want to ruin this." I said with a soft smile

"What did your dad say?" he asked and I breathed deeply

"He doesn't know yet, my mom does." I answered "She's always known that I didn't want to study law at Harvard, she said that she supports me, and that she knows that my dad will get on board once he sees what I can do."

"Well, if it's any consolation," he whispered into my ear, I felt his grin on my ear "I think you're amazing and can do anything."
