They heard the top surface,
Blinded by the haze.
They believed the unheard echoes.
While chilling out at the meadows.

None paid attention to my inner voice,
At last, gave up out of choice,
Tried shouting but couldn't get loud enough
to make the credulous crowd hear my stuff.

I was at blame for uncommitted crime.
I was considered at fault,
Couldn't prove myself right at a wrong time.
Accepted the lie because I can't hault.
