Nervous

In the masses of people I stood,
That carried faces rude.
came to make an impression,
Growing within undying nervousness and tension.

Took on the stage and saw the crowd,
Seated people whom I wanted to make proud,
And some who wished for my failure,
time to face the fears that endure.

Taking a deep breath I gripped the mic,
Introduced myself right.
"You'll mess up" " Why is she here?  " Get her off the stage " Came the voices,
Ignored them, I knew I had no other choices.

With grace and elegance I spoke,
An overwhelmed feeling within me woke,
When they praised and appreciated my confident,
Since that moment ““nervous” went absent.

All it takes is a smile and naturalness,
To slay on the stage and impress the witness.
Kill your negative thoughts and trail of probabilities
And see your hidden abilities

Slap the people who wish you failure,
Let their egos get tortured.
King or Queen, take the crown you deserve,
Anxiousness should never get in your nerve.
