pictures of memory

In the dusty shelf laid an album  old,
As I flipped the pages all the memories flooded uncontrolled.
I noticed those shiny smiles,
felt it even from distant miles.

Dancing in the rain to the pranks in the gas stations ,
Me being your " fake gf " to get you out of  certain situations,
Watching the puppies of the park grow,
Or just riding in your uncles jeep to and fro.

I have all the pieces of memory collected and secured,
Of the times we were  teens to adults full matured.
Those moments still live inside my head;
along with all those words you said.

Turning the pages, all the reminiscence came alive ,
I chuckled at how fast the time flew bye,
Those days felt like  yesterday,
And now see, we are adults living our own ways.

Really, I wish to recreate these moments again,
But can't forget the words that caused pain,
Feeling melancholic I stopped turning further,
I pray, you are weaving better memories with her.
