@lilypeters : Thankyou for all the support and I'm excited to start this new journey

I've never been to Barcelona before and this is my first time going. They even put me on a private jet I'd of been happy in economy to be honest.

It feels weird all this attention. I mean I was used to it but i feel like it's grown. I am now the most expensive transfer in women's football which was mental to me like who would want to pay that much for a silly 17 year old like
I haven't even finished college and they want to pay 1.2 million for me.

I am scared though what if I'm just not good enough and I'm benched 24/7 I literally won the golden boot back at arsenal last season and now I may become a bench warmer.

We land in Barcelona and Jesus it's sunny you don't get this type of weather in England. As I'm walking out there's loads of fans shouting my name asking for photos and some even have shirts with my name on and I haven't even played a game. I go around taking photos with everyone and signing some shirts.

"Oh my gosh don't cry" I say hugging one of the girls and everyone screams "sorry you're just so awesome" she sobs to me "you're way cooler than me trust me"I tell her giving her one more hug then walking away to get into the car set up for me.

Getting my drivers liscense was the first I had planned when moving to Barcelona as I like to be in control of the wheel so my lessons for that start next week and I'm definitely going to buy a nice car as Ive never really bought anything nice for myself.

The chauffeur drove me to lamasia which was the place I was staying until I turned 18 as I didn't really want to live in my own yet and I lived with my family in England. I thank the driver getting out the car and heading inside.

"Hello you must be lily" the lady says with a smile "yep that's me" I smile back "let me show you your room" she grabs my suitcase and I follow her "all your stuff you sent over has already been placed in there so don't worry about that" she tells me as we get in the lift

"so you share like an apartment type thing with 6 other people all girls don't worry but there are boys that you will see around the place like outside in the garden area and things like that" she explains as the elevator goes up

"So this is it if you need anything there will be someone at reception from 7am - 8pm and you can use this key card to get in and out and these keys to unlock your room" she tells me passing the key and the key card "Thankyou so much" I smile "it's no problem i will see you later" she smiles as she walks out closing the door behind her

I turn around inspecting the room and deciding how I'm going to decorate it. I even had my own bathroom which was good because at home I was sick of sharing with my messy brother.

I unpack the boxes and put up my photos of friends and family on my wall and place all my junk around the room including having my window sill dedicated to all my trophy's which was a tight fit but I managed to do it. I packed all my clothes away in the wardrobe they had and put fresh sheets on my duvet.

This was my new home and I quite liked it
