The new signing - Pablo gavi story

Game day

I walked onto the pitch I was a little bit nervous as this was my debut for Barcelona and I didn't want to be a waste of money.

"You will be fine" Jana says to me as we are taking the pre match group photo. "I know I will just don't want to let anyone down" hi say with a light smile "trust me you won't" she replies

My eyes scan the crowd and I don't see Alejandro who said he would come but I did see Pablo gavi who I presume was with one of his friends as I didn't recognise the guy next to him. He catches me looking and smiles at me causing me to instantly smile back.

There was something about him which just always made me want to smile it was like it was contagious.

We started with the ball and it was a steady game to start with and I will admit Real Madrids defence where tough to beat.

It was the 17th minute and geyse crossed the ball from outside the box. I saw it incoming and next thing I knew it had hit my foot. I turned my head seeing the ball in the back of the net.

I was estatic I ran all around the pitch my smile not leaving my face. My teammates all come up behind me and we all celebrate together.

My debut for Barcelona FC and I had scored it sounded ridiculous maybe even impossible but I did it.

The game carried on and sadly no other goals were scored but we still won which was obviously amazing.

We went around the pitch applauding the fans until an idea struck my mind. I ran up to where he was sitting as he was near the front "come here" i shout at him as he was a couple rows back. He makes his way towards me and I give him my shirt. "Now we're even" I smile before running back to the team ready for my post match interview.

"So lily it was your debut for Barcelona and you managed to score" the man says to me "yeah I'm so glad with the result and I hope the fans have some faith in me now and will welcome me with open arms into the club" I smile "congratulations on women of the match too" he smiles "yeah it's my first trophy with Barcelona even if it's small it will definitely go with all my others" I say letting out a small laugh "we also saw their was some other Barca players in the crowd but from the men's team and you also seemed to of given your shirt to gavi is there anything to tell about that" he asks "not really he gave me his in the men's game the other day so I thought I'd return the favour but we hardly know eachotgher it was just a joke" I tell him "well again congratulations on your goal and we will let you go celebrate with your team now" he says and I hand the microphone back walking off

I start to walk back to the changing room and see a familiar face "you actually came" I say with a smirk "obviously I said I would" Alejandro smiles "I didn't see you out there" you say "aww you was looking for me" he says making a weird face "you said you were coming so I looked don't flatter yourself" I giggle

"Your goal was really good" he tells me as we are walking towards the dressing room "Thankyou I'm happy I scored hopefully the fans will have trust in me" I say

"they already did I saw so many signs about you today" he tells me "how come you didn't have one" I ask sarcastically "didn't want to make you think I actually went to watch you" he replies with a cheeky smile "we both know you are in love with me it's okay to admit it everyone is" I giggle "dream on" he chuckles

"This is my stop" I say as we reach the changing room "it was nice seeing you again lily" he says flashing a bright smile "you too" I say returning the smile

"maybe we should make plans one day this week" he says "like a date" i question "if you want" he smirks "maybe" I smile back before walking into the changing rooms to get ready to leave
