-Chishiya pov-

I never actually went to sleep, well, actually... Maybe for around an hour I did but I woke up to the sound of someone inside the Beach dying. Their Visa probably expired and they either forgot or were just stupid.

I went to the bathroom in my room for a moment, making sure everything was in its designated area before I would go out of the room entirely to meet up with Niragi for the game. I sighed as I put on my sandals and lifted my hood so that it was on my head. I heard a knock at the door as I was just about to walk out.

As I opened the door, I saw Kuina waiting there for me with a small bag of cookies in her hand and a large grin on her face. Makeup always did suit her, but even without it she looked just as charming... not my type of charming though. But charming enough to keep her around as an... 'acquaintance' or 'ally' if you will.

"Rise and shine buttercup, your chariot and feast await!~" she says with a playful tone. I smile a bit as she hands me the cookies, "They didn't have your favorites back yet so I improvised." I nodded in understanding as we began to walk towards the stairs to get to the first floor and meet Niragi and the Hatter.

"So, Kuina, what made you go to my room at who knows what time of day and just, you know, bring me cookies?" I took a bite of one of the sweets i took out from the bag. It was dry, hard, and a bit too sweet but it wasn't entirely terrible I guess. "Well, for starters, you're going to a game with Niragi of all people." She frowned a bit before continuing "You know what he does when he wants things, or people at that. Second, I heard someone getting their Visa revoked last night so I was hoping it wasn't you so that we can still hang out together." Kuina paused in her sentence before smiling again. "Might as well make the most of this hell while we're still here, right Chish?"

I look up at her a bit, there was no falter in her voice so she wasn't lying but at the same time she cared so much for no reason. I smile a bit as I ball up the now empty cookie bag. "I guess you're right Kuina. And don't worry," I playfully wink at her, "There's no way I'll die easily. Especially to a dumb game or to Niragi." She smiled and we got to the outside of the beach.

"Oh, and don't think I'm letting the 'Chish' go that easily." I said jokingly and she laughed in return as I waved bye to her and parted ways. I walked towards one of the old cars that was left for Niragi and me to use to enter the next game. I sighed as I looked back over to wear Kuina was happily leaning against one of the Beach's walls. "Come on pretty boy, we don't have all day for your smug ass to complain about me." I looked at the car again, Niragi was already in the drivers seat. I shook my head disapprovingly as I walked over to the opposite side of the car where Niragi was sitting.

"Uh, you must be crazy if you think i'm letting you, of all people, drive. Get out, i'm driving. I'd rather make it to the next game in one piece, 'pretty boy'." He scoffed and pointed a revolver at my forehead. "You are going to sit your ass down like a good boy and you are going to the next game in the passenger seat. Or do you want me to blow your brains out with a bullet?" He asked smugly, cocking the gun as if that would threaten me. I kept the same unfazed reaction as I spoke, "Go ahea-" I paused for a moment, looking up again to where Kuina was, then, shaking my head, I sighed. "Fine. I'll let you drive, but next time I'm driving." Niragi laughed and I sat in the passenger seat.

The car ride was relatively silent, well, besides Niragi's random laughs when we passed someone whose visa expired. Around half way to the game area he started asking random 'what if' questions. I think I zoned out through half of them because the last one I remember him asking was "What if I beat the shit out of myself, would I be strong as hell or just stupidly weak?" "Stupid. That's what you'd be." Was my answer before he just ignored me and continued with the questions.

After maybe 10 minutes we finally got to the game we were assigned to go to. Niragi got out first, he was probably tempted to leave me in the car. He grabbed his gun and I got out of the old vehicle too.... with my life I suppose.

"Well, after you princess." Niragi said as I walked ahead of him without a care for if he shoots me at this point. I scoffed and just kept walking until i was met with the door to an abandoned office building. I looked over at Niragi and saw he was still smugly holding his gun on his shoulder as if he owned the place. He shooed me in and we were met with the usual small game screen, and a small table with two head google things and two phones on it. That meant that we were the only ones or that there were others already here who got their game phones first.

"Eh? My phone won't turn on, stupid thing-" Niragi hit his given game phone a couple of times and it turned on. "You really shouldn't do that Niragi. You may just break the phone and we don't know what happens when you break it." Piercing boy scoffed as if what I said isn't important. The phone lit up and the screen began to introduce the next game. We put on our googles quickly.

"Two of clubs, Peek-a-boo!" Niragi held back a laugh when the  name of the game was said. "Rules of this game is to hide the best you can from the 'it' for three hours! Get caught and your head explodes! You are not allowed to harm your teammate and you cannot harm the person who is 'It'. Anyone who does not follow the rules will be killed as well. The people who must hide will be given a ten minute head start! When found the 'it' must yell 'peek-a-boo' and the given players name for the death to count. If the 'it' lies, they will be killed and the players will be given a free victory. Now then! The 'it' will be--" I looked around the small area we were in to see a shadowy figure sitting in the corner. Interesting... There actually are more people. The phone made a ringing sound as if it was calling someone or it was choosing something.

"Kokoto Sirumi!"

The board showed three faces now, mines and Niragis' from when we first walked in, and another persons face. A dude with shaved brown hair, no eyebrows for some reason, piercings on his nose and mouth, and a weird scar tattoo on his face. So this was the shadowy figure? He looks like a Last Boss or Niragi wanna-be to be honest.

The shady dude got up and walked towards us, never mind he looks like a Hatter wanna-be. He wasn't wearing a shirt and the dude looked pretty drunk and sick right now. He sighed and shook his head as if he predicted this to happen.

"Well, I'm pretty sure you two will win. So, um, if you guys don't you are both just stupid as hell. No offense that is- I'm just pretty drunk since, like,... an hour ago-" "Yeah yeah shut it old man. Like ya said, we're gonna win so don't waste your breath. Make it interesting and fun for us will ya , old man?" Niragi said interrupting 'Kotoko'. Poor dude's probably been through enough... as if we'd care though, we've been through a lot too in this hellscape.

"Niragi, the counter's already going. We gotta go, there's already thirty seconds lost because of you." I put my hands in my pockets and walk away from the two, kind of hoping they will start bickering so that I have one less militant to worry about in the future. I hear Niragi scoff and start following me, which definitely won't help with the game.

"Hey, old man!" Niragi called back, not bothering to turn around and just turned his head slightly. "You better be holding hope and make this game worthwhile, okay? I don't wanna be bored!" I give Niragi a slight side eye as he says this, how stupid can he get? Niragi had probably put his precious gun somewhere because he wasn't holding it anymore, instead, he was walking with his hands behind his head as if they were holding onto his neck.

Niragi looks at me in a bored way, "What? Just want this stupid kids game to be fun. Or maybe you are finally admiring my sweet looks?" I smirk a bit, "Mm, you'd look better in fire." "And you'd look better with many bullets in your stupid little body." He rolled his eyes and we separated paths when we got to the first two flights of stairs.

Seven minutes of the 'head start' were left.

I am not dying near Niragi anytime soon so I hope he doesn't do some stupid shit that might bite us both in the ass later.
