I yawn behind my hand when I enter the study, a fresh mug of coffee in my hand as I walk to my desk and sit down. Placing my mug down, I see a black envelope sitting atop my open file that wasn't there a few minutes ago when I left to make my drink and say goodbye to my partner who left to grab some last-minute things for my birthday dinner. My Love is written on the front in gold and there's a golden wax seal on the back. Opening the envelope cautiously, I pull out a black piece of paper with white writing on it, reading it carefully.
A smile forms on my face at Blaire's handwriting, stand from my desk and swiftly gather my things, my coffee long forgotten as I rush out of the apartment and toward the elevator. I speed out of the elevator through the lobby and out to my car, driving toward the heart of DC. More specifically, Georgetown's dormitories. I pull up by the dorm building and round the corner to where Blaire used to park their car, seeing Morgan waiting for me.
"Morgan? What are you doing here?" I ask, walking over to him.
