Ominis POV
Location Setting: Hospital Wing
"Look at that chum!" Sebastian greeted me as he approached. "Haven't seen you smiling that big since ages."
"Well, my dear friend, I got a pack of my favorite nuts, a bag full of chocolates, and my all-time favorite, a chocolate frog. Imagine all the savings on snacks I got for being here!" I exclaimed happily, grateful for the unexpected gifts.
Sebastian sat down next to me and joked, "Nu-uh! Not if I eat what's yours too!" He playfully attempted to steal some of my snacks from my hand. I quickly moved my hand up and down, left and right, since I couldn't see where his hand was reaching.
"Sebastian.." I muttured as I stop. "Can you care to explain why I'm here in the Hospital Wing?" Sebastian looked at me disbelief, "Wha-what do you mean, explain?"
"Did I get hit by a Quaffle or something?" I asked.
"I'm sorry, Ominis," Sebastian said, concern etched on his face. "You were hit by a stray Bludger during Quidditch practice. It hit you on the head and knocked you out cold. That's why you're here in the Hospital Wing."
I touched the back of my head and winced at the soreness. "Ouch," I said. "No wonder I feel like I got hit by a ton of bricks. And my wand? Where is it?"
Sebastian looked at me sheepishly. "I think I accidentally knocked it out of your hand during the commotion. I'm really sorry about that."Sebastian said, hinting a sarcasm manner.
"Are you sure you forgot everything about last night?" Sebastian reconfirmed my words. "We were at the Quidditch Pitch wasn't it?" I questioned again.
"Oh bloody hell, Ominis! Just forget about that for now. I have something exclusive to tell you," Sebastian said, leaning in close to my ear. I turned my head to face him and asked, "Exclusive?"
"Yes, exclusive!" Sebastian began to recount what had happened the previous night while I was unconscious. "Well, Y/n was at my shoulders and then my head impulsively landed on her too!" Sebastian vocal cracked in a high pitch voice and continued, "And her hair, it smells so nice. I had butterflies all night, yesterday. We were so closed too." Sebastian whispered to me.
"You sound like a smitten schoolboy," I teased Sebastian. He stop at his words forawhile and said, "I mean, no, I mean we're closer now, right? I mean, yeah... you know. We're friends again?" he said, questioning himself.
Sebastian always had a reputation for being friendly with girls, but he never seemed to get too close to any of them. He preferred spending his time in the library with me. It was strange to think that he could be interested in a girl as a close friend.
I felt disheartened by the news. It made me think that the kiss on the cheek that had happened between us before was just a friendly gesture.
"Ahha, ha-haa.." I laughed awkwardly at Sebastian's romantic musings, feeling uncomfortable and reminded me of this one particular dream.
"Lips..." I muttered. "What are you drooling at, Ominis?" Suprised by the voice that caught me by the act. "Hello Y/N. Didn't realise you're here." I said still in suprised.
"Uuhh, sorry about that," I said, wiping my mouth. "I was just thinking about something." Y/N raised an eyebrow and asked, "What were you thinking about?" I hesitated for a moment before answering, "Uh, just some silly thing. Nothing important."
"I can't believe it, this guy doesn't remember anything about last night and now he's acting like a madman," Sebastian said in disbelief. Y/n chuckled at the scene, but then caught by Sebastian's words.
