Ominis POV
Location Setting: Slytherin Boy's Dormitory
I was roused from my sleep by Sebastian, who had come to wake me up. He was running late for Quidditch's practice as Imelda had set it'll be far at the coast. "I don't get why that girl wants us to practice that far." Sebastian complained.
As he hurried out of the room, I sat there in the dark, "Black just like my own future," I said to myself, unable to see anything without my wand. It was like staring into an endless abyss.
I sat up, fumbling for my shaving utensils, trying to feel my way through the textures of my facial hair. It seemed to grow more and more each day. I reached for my brush on the vanity table, but my hand came up empty. With a sigh, I gave up and made my way to the bathroom to freshen up.
Y/n POV
I had promised to accompany Ominis today since the incident with his broken wand. Mr. Ollivander had told us to pick up his wand in the late afternoon, so I thought I would join him for breakfast this morning.
As I approached the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room, I saw the serpent guarding the entrance started to slither up, and a group of boys came out from the room. However, Ominis was nowhere to be seen.
I leaned against one of the dungeon walls and waited for him. Suddenly, a disheveled-looking guy with an untucked shirt and messy hair was seen. To my surprise, it was Ominis.
"Merlin's beard, Ominis. Aren't you astonishing?" I exclaimed in surprise at seeing his untucked shirt and messy hair. There is a charm within the messy locks, still look charming as ever.
"Do I? I thought I looked fine," Ominis replied. It dawned on me that the situation was likely worse than I had thought. He had relied on his wand for so long that he probably didn't know how to live without it.
"Let me help you, Ominis," I offered to help him tidy up. He sighed and said, "Please do." Ominis gratefully accepts.
I lifted my foot to reach Ominis' height and brushed his hair, to which he adjusted himself to my level. I heard some whistling and coughing sounds coming from the onlookers around us.
Feeling embarrassed, I asked Ominis quietly, "Would you like to go somewhere else?" He nodded, and I led him out of the dungeon and into a locked room, using the Alohomora charm to unlock it. I ushered Ominis inside, and although the room was small, it was enough to provide us with some privacy.
"Okay now nobody will think otherwise about us." I said, pulling him in, remembering that Ominis had not remember anything that happen between us so it best to say we are just still friends. "Su-sure," Ominis replied nervously.
I straightened his shirt and tried to tucked it in his pants, but he quickly stopped my hand. "Mm, I'll do it myself.. is it here?" He said shyly.
My cheeks redden by the intervened. "Sorry, I kinda forgot along the way." I said awkwardly, guiding his hand as to where he should tucked his shirt.
He smiled as he fixed his shirt and pants on his own. "You're always like that, Y/n. I'm afraid that you might accidentally do something like this to others than myself." he commented, emphasising the need for boundaries between a man and a lady.
