"Wanda," Pietro spoke with an edge of panic in his voice that made Wanda jump and look at him.
"What's wrong?" she questioned as she tightened her grip a bit around Ollie.
"The tingling," Pietro said, moving his hands to Ollie's face and trying to get her attention. Wanda noticed then, as well, that the tingle they'd get every time Ollie and her touched was absent. As Pietro tried to gain Ollie's attention, he noticed her eyes were glazed over, and slowly beginning to flutter shut.
"SOMEONE GET BRUCE," he yelled, grabbing either side of her face as Wanda began to panic as well, trying to talk to Ollie. When Wanda tried reading her mind to come back with a blank wall, she didn't know what to do.
Loki quickly made his way over to the panicking twins, and to the mortal he deemed as perfect in every way, and elegantly dropped to his knees in front of Ollie.
"Sweetheart," he tried, but nothing they tried worked. Peter went to get Bruce in a rush, while Nat told FRIDAY to contact both Tony and Bruce before also coming over to where Ollie was laying.
"Her mind is blank," Wanda said, worry clear in her voice. Panic in the room was at an all time high as everyone waited for Tony and Bruce. Tony and Bruce ended up in the elevator together, both of them worrying.
"You think that she's... 'stuck' again?" Tony asked Bruce. Bruce wished he knew more about Ollie's powers because then maybe he'd know more accurately how to bring her back. But they barely knew anything about how her powers worked, apart from the surface level of what she'd told them. She could read emotions and the 'chatter' everyone had swirling inside of them. And that sometimes she gets stuck when trying to retreat from commotion.
When Tony and Bruce arrived to the scene of everyone worrying over Ollie, Tony knew that what he feared had been correct. She was stuck in her own mind.
"I can't read anything off of her, Bruce," Wanda said. Wanda was still cradling Ollie as Bruce ran over to her.
"What happened?" Tony questioned.
"We were all hanging out. Nat and Clint were wrestling. Ollie came down and we all were super happy to see her and she ended up snuggling on the couch with me and her legs were slung over Pietro. And then Pie realized the tingling was gone."
"When I realized and tried to get her attention, her eyes were glazed over. They were slowly starting to close, and that's when Wanda realized she couldn't access her mind," Pietro added.
"The tingling is gone?" Tony questioned, moving forward to gently lay his hand on Ollie's arm as Bruce began to check her over. Sure enough, for the first time since Tony had known her, there was no electricity.
"I didn't realize it before, but when she came to us, there was no electric feeling either," Bruce added as he checked her vitals. Everything was fine with her, physically.
"I'm going to call Stephen, can someone hand me my phone?" Wanda questioned as she gently laid Ollie down on her lap, so Bruce had better access to her.
